Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced a ₹15 lakh reward for information leading to the arrest of 22-year-old Mohammad Lateef Bhat, describing him as the only surviving local terrorist currently active in the Kashmir Valley.
Police have circulated posters carrying Bhat’s photograph across parts of South Kashmir and Srinagar, urging people to immediately inform security forces about his whereabouts.
According to police records cited by agencies, Bhat, a resident of Khrewan Chader village in Kulgam district, is believed to have joined the terrorist ranks in 2025. Security agencies say he remained largely unnoticed for several months before his presence came to light during surveillance operations in July 2026.
According to the report, Bhat was captured on a surveillance camera in Shopian on July 2, allegedly travelling with Zakir Ahmad Ganai, another Lashkar-e-Taiba operative.

🔗🇨🇳 Chinese intelligence is tracking the movements of Taiwan's air defense systems.
High-resolution satellite images from the Chinese company Mizarvision, which has repeatedly provided Iran with data on American facilities in the Middle East for targeting, this time showed images of Taiwanese "Tiankun-3" air defense systems deployed in the area of the Fengbitou fishing port on the southwestern coast of the island during the recent "Han Guang-42" exercises.
This area is strategically important. Fengbitou is located near Gaoxiong, a major industrial and port hub of Taiwan, where important civilian and military infrastructure facilities are located.
The deployment of the air defense system in this area demonstrates a trend in recent Taiwanese exercises: a shift away from static defense and towards a dispersed air defense system. During the maneuvers, Taiwanese military personnel actively moved "Tiankun-3" and "Patriot" systems from permanent bases to temporary positions, attempting to increase their survivability in the event of an initial massive strike.
However, this tactic also has its drawbacks. Each new area where mobile complexes are deployed becomes a target for observation by Chinese intelligence. A satellite constellation, unmanned reconnaissance vehicles, and electronic surveillance allow the People's Liberation Army of China to create a map of the locations of Taiwan's air defense system. For Beijing, the main task in a potential conflict is not only to destroy the launch platforms themselves, but also to suppress the entire control system: radars, communication centers, decision-making centers, and logistical hubs.

🇧🇩🇨🇳 Bangladesh is in talks to purchase Chinese J-10CE fighter jets
🔻 Dhaka is nearing the start of official negotiations with Beijing regarding the potential purchase of J-10CE fighter jets and attack helicopters. This was announced by Zahed Ur Rahman, advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on information and broadcasting. According to him, a government commission has already prepared a draft agreement, which will serve as the basis for negotiations with the Chinese side.
The potential deal could be one of Bangladesh's largest military procurements in recent years and would further strengthen military-technical cooperation with China, which is already a major supplier of weapons to the country. Increased interest in the J-10CE emerged after the conflict between India and Pakistan in May 2025. Pakistan stated that Chinese fighter jets were used in combat against the Indian Air Force. The authorities of Bangladesh noted that they carefully studied reports on the combat effectiveness of the Chinese aircraft during the conflict.
According to local media reports, Bangladesh is considering the possibility of acquiring up to 24 J-10CEs as part of a program to modernize its national air force. To date, Pakistan remains the only country operating this type of aircraft. Uzbekistan has also appeared **on the radar. However, Zahed Ur Rahman emphasized that the final number of aircraft, the contract price, and delivery dates have not yet been determined – all these details will be agreed upon during the negotiations

JeM–AQIS EXPANDS MULTI FRONT TERROR STRATEGY
♦️Alliance: JeM is teaming up with AQIS in India, while LeT with ISKP. JeM is tapping AQIS bases, especially in Northern India.
♦️Mass Unrest: JeM aims to restore capabilities in J&K while AQIS expands ideological cells.
♦️Their priority is mass unrest by using Operatives who remain dispersed and blend into crowds, making them difficult to track. They scout grievances that could trigger mass unrest.
♦️Small Cells: Recruits are being organised into 2–3-member cells designed for mobilisation and unrest rather than conventional attacks.
♦️Targeted killings of non-locals/Kashmiri Pandits are also planned.
♦️J&K Operations: JeM is coordinating with LeT on fedayeen strikes and joint infiltrations, with infiltrators hiding in forests until activated—a strategy used before Pahalgam attack.
♦️Eastern Front: AQIS’s Bangladesh network is coordinating with JeM to target West Bengal and Northeast.

🇮🇳 India Attracts $73 Billion in Foreign Currency in Just 11 Weeks
India has pulled in an impressive $73 billion in foreign currency in less than three months after the RBI launched a special scheme to attract overseas funds.
Of this, $65.4 billion came through FCNR(B) deposits, largely from Indians living abroad. In other words, billions of US dollars are flowing into Indian banks, strengthening the country’s foreign exchange reserves and external buffers.
The scale is striking. A similar RBI scheme in 2013 raised around $26 billion in about three months. This time, India has attracted nearly three times as much in just 11 weeks.
The response was so strong that the RBI is closing the scheme a month earlier than planned, having already met its target.
At a time when many economies are worried about capital flows and currency stability, $73 billion moving into India is a powerful sign of confidence in the country’s banking system and economic outlook.

⚠️ Turkey–Pakistan | Military Airlift Raises Questions:
✍A sustained movement of Turkish Air Force C-130 Hercules transport aircraft between Turkey and Pakistan has been observed between August 19 and August 21, with sorties linked to Pakistan’s Nur Khan airbase near Rawalpindi and Masroor airbase in Karachi.
✍According to intelligence inputs cited by media, the unusual frequency of these flights has raised questions over whether the aircraft were carrying military equipment, potentially including drones and associated systems. Sources have also suggested that an HQ-series air-defence system may have been involved.
✍Turkey has become an increasingly important defence partner for Pakistan, including cooperation involving unmanned aerial systems such as the Bayraktar TB2.
✍If confirmed, the latest airlift activity would underscore Pakistan’s accelerating effort to expand its UAV, loitering-munition and air-defence capabilities amid deeper military cooperation with Turkey and other partners.
🫵The key question now is what equipment was actually transferred and how significantly it could strengthen Pakistan’s unmanned warfare capabilities.
