The explosion occurred within the premises of Bana Gostar Company, an area off-limits to regular port workers. Bana Gostar has ties to the IRGC and is known for handling explosives and ammunition. It is affiliated with Sepehr Energy Holding, a company sanctioned by the Trump administration in February 2025 for its role in transporting and selling Iran’s oil. Visual evidence confirms the explosion happened in a depot where the IRGC Quds Force previously stored ammunition for export to its proxies. #HM #HMIntelligence

On April 22, 2025, a deadly militant attack in Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of at least 28 tourists and injured over 20 others, with the assailants—linked to a Pakistan-based group—allegedly targeting victims based on religion. The incident, which ended a period of calm in the region, led to strong diplomatic fallout as India blamed Pakistan for supporting terrorism and took retaliatory actions, including suspending treaties and expelling diplomats. Pakistan denied involvement and responded by closing its airspace and escalating diplomatic tensions. However, it is possible that this could lead to low level skirmishes, which if it results in causalities, could continue to increase tensions. It is highly unlikely that Pakistan will help India in apprehension of the terrorists which means tensions remain high.

In complete contradiction to what was reported by FT According to Axios sources, former President Trump's proposed "final offer" for peace in Ukraine would require Kyiv to accept Russian occupation of certain territories. The deal would grant Russia U.S. recognition of its control over Crimea and de facto acknowledgment of its presence in parts of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia. Ukraine would also be barred from joining NATO, while Russia would benefit from lifted sanctions and expanded economic ties with the U.S. In return, Ukraine would receive vague security guarantees from European and other partner nations (excluding the U.S.), limited territorial restitution in the Kharkiv region, Dnieper River access, unspecified reconstruction aid, and shared control of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, with electricity supplied to both nations.
