🚀 Community Showcase: Week Two!!
This week, we're featuring three projects that solve real problems for developers and students alike. ⚡️ Loadcell — Built by @rb_wk & @robi_makes_stuff A free and open-source load testing tool that lets you create HTTP load-testing profiles, design ramp-up curves, and run concurrent tests using Go—all without paying for services when you already own the machines. 🚢 ShipLog — Built by @thesanyi An AI-powered tool that turns GitHub commits and merges into clean, user-friendly changelogs. It automatically generates release notes, a self-hosted changelog page, and an embeddable widget for your product. 📖 Cramly — Built by @lidsverse A study companion designed to make exam preparation less stressful. With exam countdowns, Pomodoro sessions, active recall, analytics, and study planning tools, Cramly helps students stay focused and organized. 💡 From developer tooling to AI-powered workflows and student productivity, these projects showcase the creativity and problem-solving mindset of our community. Want your project featured next week? Share what you've been building—we'd love to see it! 🤩 Follow us for updates: | Telegram  | LinkedIn  | Instagram | TikTok | Face Book | X #GDGAAU

Somehow, we just need to have faith in the journey and trust in God's plan, while we put in our best effort, everything happens for a reason :)

There is no need for motivation if you are the older child in your family. When it comes to being an older daughter, that is another story. Failure is not an option here, since the sustainability of the family depends on you. #random @byte_philosopher

Gheero(formerly iCog) is opening applications for its Applied AI & Machine Learning Residency Program, an 8-week program for people who want to build real AI systems, not just study the concepts. Residents will work on practical AI and machine learning projects, learn how models are designed, trained, evaluated, and integrated into real products, and get mentorship from experienced builders. The program focuses on applied AI, engineering discipline, problem-solving, and technical growth. Strong participants may also be considered for internship or full-time roles after the residency. To apply, send your CV and relevant documents to recruitment@gheero.et with the subject line: Applied AI & Machine Learning Residency Program. Read more here

Introducing ICare I built ICare because I spend most of my day staring at a screen and kept forgetting to take breaks until my eyes started hurting. ICare reminds you to follow the 20-20-20 rule by nudging you every 20 minutes to look away from your screen for 20 seconds. If you're really stubborn, Smart Eye Mode can block your screen for 20 seconds and force the break To make things more fun, I added:       - Analytics to track your habits       - Streaks and badges to keep you motivated       - Different popup personalities       - A Savage Mode that might roast you for ignoring your eye health I wanted ICare to be simple, useful, and a little entertaining. I've been using it myself, and it's already helping me build healthier screen habits. I hope it helps you too. GitHub repo: https://github.com/Lozaashenafi/Icare If you try it out, I'd love to hear your feedback.

Starting from wednesday for the next 5 straight days, I’m going full-time to find local businesses, and pitch custom software solutions to automate them. But this isn't a solo challenge anymore. I am inviting YOU to get on the field with me. If you pull up in person, you will be placed into a team and pitch businesses yourself. This means you could literally land your very first client during this sprint. This is your chance to build your hustle muscle, network, and get real-world tech and sales experience live. Orientation happens over the next few days to lock the strategy in. Don't sit on the sidelines. 👉 Secure your spot right here: https://forms.gle/gB7FZZjinrxRxAJ47 Let's change the game. The countdown is ON! 🫵🔥 @cyber_Guardian5
