I saw this doll at home and reminded me of the movie
Home🫠... i really enjoyed watching this movie and it taught me some big lessons aswell while watching...
◇ Understanding and Embracing Differences(it shows that family and belonging are not defined by where you come from or who you are, but by the love and trust you build together)
◇ The Flaw of Running Away from Mistakes(making mistakes is normal and real growth comes from staying to fix them)
◇ How we judge others based on assumptions(it's good to know someone better before we judge/don't judge a book by it's cover)

Cursor AI Hackathon Ethiopia is happening July 25–26 at Adwa Museum.
We’re partnering with Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MinT) and Ethio telecom to bring builders together for Ethiopia’s largest AI hackathon.
We're looking for idea-stage AI startups. Not polished products, not finished projects. Just a real problem, real users, and a team ready to build fast. If you've been sitting on an idea, this is the weekend to start it.
You'll have 20 hours to turn it into a working MVP, with credits and AI tools from Cursor and our AI credit sponsors: Addis AI, ElevenLabs, Fal, Whisperflow, and more. Food, mentors, and support are covered the whole time.
We're taking 60 teams. Have a team? Register with your team code. Coming alone? Tell us your skills and we'll match you into a team of 5, or fill your team's open spots.
Incubation partners will be in the room too, including MinT, the Addis Ababa University Startup Center, Gheero, and others, ready to back promising teams with mentorship, workspace, and follow-up. Investors will be there looking for ideas worth funding.

And I don't really know too many places around the city (me dev. outside bad 🙂↔️). So I built this last weekend.
Spots scrapes popular review channels on TikTok and displays the results all in one place. You can save a spot, make a list of all the places you've been to with notes and reviews, and you can see what other people have said about places.
And the best part is that you don't have to be on TikTok to find cool places around Addis.

| 19 | Today, we were setting up a PC to use as a server, and honestly, it was a great experience. I can confidently say that I’m happy to have finally practiced, in real life, what I learned in my cloud computing class...the setup is not done yet tho we got good progress
There was also an unplanned event we attended this morning, and it answered so many questions I had. I got the chance to talk with people working at AI companies, meet founders from different startups, and even have a conversation with someone from NASA, he shared valuable advice about our projects and future plans...
One thing I realized is that talking to people from different backgrounds helps you see life from new perspectives, every conversation can teach you something you didn't know before
