🇬🇧🇨🇾 According to a BBC report, a 44-year-old British-Azerbaijani man named Rashad Sultanov has been arrested in Cyprus on charges of conducting espionage activities against the British airbase at Akrotiri on behalf of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Sultanov, a resident of the Islington area in North London, is accused of gathering information about the British military base and sharing it with the IRGC between May 11 and June 22, 2025.
He was arrested by the Cypriot police on July 17 and currently remains in custody pending extradition proceedings.

The serious incident in the Givati Brigade: It appears that the top leadership has decided to dismantle the "Sabar" Battalion, which is the elite infantry battalion in the Israeli army, due to the madness of the battalion commander who suffers from a severe leadership problem. No fewer than 17 fighters have been sent to prison for 30 days, and 3 more are expected to face a similar punishment, with all of them being removed from combat. On top of that, the entire battalion, which was supposed to go home for a weekend break during the Sabbath holiday, received a collective punishment of staying on base.
