📊 Market Update 📊 There's a relief rally underway but sentiment still remains fragile. HYPE was the main outperformer, surging 20% amid continued interest/volume from their HIP-3 update, giving access to precious metals. Meanwhile, gold and silver have had nice recoveries, up 6% and 13% respectively. As things start to look tentatively bullish, it's important to manage your risk accordingly and not chase these rallies, but instead, let price come to you. Key News Events - Government shutdown Day 3 - House Rules Committee advanced funding package Monday evening. Vote expected today. - US-Iran talks Friday in Istanbul - Witkoff and Araghchi expected to meet. Iran's Pezeshkian ordered diplomats to seek "fair and equitable negotiations." - US Jobs Report Delayed - BLS won't release January employment data Friday due to shutdown. - US-Iran tensions continue to be a talking point with the geopolitical instability Upcoming Events - Feb 3rd - House vote on funding package (shutdown resolution) - Feb 5th - Strategy (MSTR) earnings - Feb 7th - US-Iran talks in Istanbul / US jobs report (delayed) - Feb 13th - New DHS funding deadline after 2-week extension - March 18th - Next FOMC Meeting - May 15th - Powell's term expires, Warsh confirmation process ongoing Summary ✍️ The market is recovering nicely as most are looking forward to a shutdown resolution later today, along with US/Iran tensions easing by the end of this week. The Fear & Greed index at 17 (extreme fear) historically represents optimal entry points, but still practice patience, and only enter at major support levels on the daily/weekly timeframes while your indicators are in confluence. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC is still struggling to stay above its 78k resistance. Although its RSI and StochRSI are oversold which does give it room for higher. This will be dependent on BTC reclaiming the weekly above 78k which should happen if the government reopens today and/or US/Iran resolve their tensions Friday. Major support remains 78k, 74.6k, 71.6k, 67k, and 60k, while major resistance remains 84.5k, 86.7k, 88.2k, 90k, 92k (50D EMA), and 94.6k (50W EMA). 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is currently rejecting from its resistance at 2370 which is exactly why you never want to long into resistance. Although it's daily RSI and StochRSI is also oversold, so a close above 2370 should send us to 2560, otherwise I would wait to bid lower. Major support remains 2190, 2010, 1830, 1730, and 1530, while major resistance remains 2370, 2560, 2680, 2750, 2820, 2900-2930, 3050, and 3170 (50D EMA)⁨. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data’s Alpha Circle — 1-Month Access Available 🔗 https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/gain-access-now/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Comfort is the most expensive drug on earth, and most people are already addicted.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The weekend has been brutal as longs were squeezed with uncertainty mounting as the House returns today to vote on the Senate funding package to to re-open the government (currently closed for 2 days). Speaker Johnson is "confident" it ends by Tuesday. The F&G index is in Extreme Fear at 15 which should provide some great DCA opportunities this week as long as macro events don't escalate: Key News Events - $4.02 trillion wiped out from gold and silver's market cap yesterday - Chinese President Xi Jinping calls for the yuan to become a global reserve currency. - Kevin Warsh nominated as Fed Chair by Trump which triggered a massive repricing as he's seen as more hawkish vs Powell in terms of monetary policy. - US-Iran tensions continue to be a talking point with the geopolitical instability Upcoming Events - Feb 2nd - House vote on funding package (could end shutdown) - Feb 5th - Strategy (MSTR) earnings - Feb 13th - New DHS funding deadline after 2-week extension - March 18th - Next FOMC Meeting - May 15th - Powell's term expires, Warsh confirmation process ongoing Summary ✍️ The Kevin Warsh nomination acted as the trigger for a massive unwind of the "debasement trade" as gold and silver crashed from record highs and markets priced in a more hawkish Fed that won't be as lenient towards QE. It's important to maintain patience here, wait for the dust to settle, let the House vote pass Monday, and see if BTC can hold $75k before considering any entries. If you are trading leverage, keep it very low, and only when you have confluence with your higher timeframes and indicators. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC closed the weekly below its support of 78k (bearish). It's now approaching its next major support zone between 67-72k (coincident with its 200W EMA at 69k). Its StochRSI is oversold and its RSI is nearly oversold which does give an argument for a bounce within the next few weeks. This will be dependent on BTC reclaiming the weekly above 78k and/or we get some resolution with the US gov't reopening or tensions resolve between US/Iran. Major support remains 71.6k, 67k, and 60k, while major resistance remains 78k, 84.5k, 86.7k, 88.2k, 90k, 92k (50D EMA), and 94.6k (50W EMA). 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is currently at its major support zone between 2010-2190. Its weekly StochRSI is also oversold while its RSI is nearing oversold. This makes for a good argument for ETH to outperform in the near future, especially if we receive some positive macro news this week. As always, make sure you're using low leverage when DCAing into these support zones, especially during periods when we have cascading liquidations. Major support remains 2190, 2010, 1830, 1730, and 1530, while major resistance remains 2370, 2560, 2680, 2750, 2820, 2900-2930, 3050, and 3170 (50D EMA) ⁨⁨ 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data’s Alpha Circle — 1-Month Access Available 🔗 https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/gain-access-now/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Nobody sabotages your future more efficiently than the version of you that avoids discomfort.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 We're witnessing an extreme liquidation cascade across all asset classes. The Kevin Warsh nomination for Fed Chair triggered risk-off positioning with Gold posting its biggest single-day crash since the 1980s (-11%) and Silver recording a record intraday decline of 36%. We saw crypto follow suit with BTC hitting new 2026 lows near $75k and ETH collapsing to $2237 with over $2.5B in liquidations. The government partially shut down at midnight but should be brief as the House votes Monday. We also have US-Iran tensions continuing to escalate with Trump's "massive armada" positioning and Iran warning it's ready for war or diplomacy. This is a capitulation event but the best move is to wait until the dust settles. You can start to DCA into positions, but keep those stops close: Key News Events - Trump nominates Kevin Warsh as Fed Chair to replace Powell, although the markets view him as hawkish (even though he's pro-BTC), while the dollar shifts to bullish - Trump says he passed on appointing Kevin Hassett as Fed Chair because he "didn't want to let him go" from his administration - Government partial shutdown begins at midnight as Senate passed funding deal 71-29, but House votes Monday - US-Iran tensions escalate as Trump sends more warships, Iran says "fingers on the trigger" - Strategy (MSTR) BTC holdings fell slightly below their avg cost basis at $76,038 for a brief period - BTC saw over $800B in outflows on Friday Upcoming Events - Feb 1st - Full Moon (historically bullish) - Feb 2nd - House vote on funding package (could end shutdown) - Feb 13th - New DHS funding deadline after 2-week extension - March 17-18th - Next FOMC Meeting - May 15th - Powell's term expires, Warsh confirmation process ongoing Summary ✍️ This is the most violent market day in months. The Warsh nomination completely reversed the precious metals "debasement trade" with the gold and silver crash. Markets are repricing everything on expectations that Warsh will be a hawkish inflation-fighter who won't bend to Trump's demands for aggressive rate cuts. The dollar surged, crushing gold/silver longs who were massively crowded, and crypto got caught in the crossfire. The liquidation cascade suggests we're in capitulation territory, but with US-Iran tensions escalating (Trump considering strikes on Iranian officials/nuclear sites) and a government shutdown over the weekend, there's no rush to catch this falling knife. Maintain patience here, wait for the dust to settle, let the House vote pass Monday, and see if BTC can hold $75k before considering any entries. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC continues lower after breaking down from its bearish flag but looks to be holding support at 78k for now. Its RSI and StochRSI are now oversold which should provide some relief within the next few days when combined with the $2.5B of liquidations. If we can close the daily above 78k, and consolidate for a few days, I will turn bullish. Major support remains 78k, 71.6k, and 67k, while major resistance remains 84.5k, 86.7k, 88.2k, 90k, 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, and 97k (50W EMA). 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH nearly hit its major weekly support of 2190 before reversing. Its weekly RSI and StochRSI are approaching oversold while daily is already there. This is a similar story to BTC and tells me we should see more relief within a few days as long as we can have some resolution with the government shutdown Monday. I would expect the next move higher to take us to 2560 before rejecting. Major support remains 2190, 2080, and 1830, while major resistance remains 2560, 2680, 2750, 2820, 2900-2930, 3050, and 3170 (50D EMA) ⁨ 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data’s Alpha Circle — 1-Month Access Available 🔗 https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/gain-access-now/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Most regret comes from decisions postponed, not decisions made.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The market had a big crash yesterday as BTC dropped to a 2-month low of $81k while stocks also saw weakness. The selloff was triggered by a reversal in gold's massive rally (gold hit ATH at $5,626 before pulling back sharply to $5,150) and Microsoft's 11% plunge on earnings, which dragged the Nasdaq down 1.6%. Despite the dollar hitting 4-year lows at $96 on the DXY, Bitcoin failed to catch a bid, with capital clearly favoring precious metals (which we were also early to). The big news was the Senate reached a spending deal to avoid a US government shutdown, and Trump announced a new Fed Chair. Both of these cleared the air of uncertainty so I imagine we should be due for a relief bounce within the next few days. Today's $9B options expiry on Deribit with max pain at ~$88k could also add volatility. I'm remaining defensive until we clear this options expiry and get confirmation BTC can reclaim $85k as support: Key News Events - Trump officially selects Kevin Warsh as new Federal Reserve Chair - Senate reaches spending deal to avoid US government shutdown. - The U.S. Senate Ag Committee passed its portion of the crypto market structure bill, with the next steps being the full Senate vote, House coordination ,and President Trump’s signature, which he has already agreed to. - Bitcoin ETFs record $1.1B+ in weekly outflows - Total 24h liquidations reach over $1B Upcoming Events - Jan 30th - $9B BTC/ETH options expiry (max pain $88k) - Feb 1st - Full Moon (historically bullish) Summary ✍️ This selloff has been brutal but not unexpected given the confluence of events this week. Capital rotation into precious metals has been the dominant theme. Gold is up over 20% for January alone, its best month since the 1980s. Meanwhile, BTC ETFs continue bleeding (~$1.1B weekly outflows) as institutional money seeks safer havens amid geopolitical and policy uncertainty. On the bright side, the worst of the uncertainty should resolve over the next 48 hours (options expiry + no more government shutdown), and the dollar weakness should eventually translate to crypto strength once positioning stabilizes. We also had over $1B of liquidations which historically marks a local bottom within 1-3 days, along with the Full Moon coming up Feb 1st. Stay patient, take profits on bounces, and don't over-leverage into this volatility. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 Our trendline resistance held at 90k before dropping crashing throughout the day. We're getting very close to a bottom as the RSI is nearly oversold and the StochRSI is also forming a bullish divergence. I would remain patient until we get a confirmed reversal, but I expect by next week we will. Although it needs to close above 84.5k for me to get bullish again here. Major support remains 80k, 78k, and 71.6k, while major resistance remains 84.5k, 86.7k, 88.2k, 90k, 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, and 97k (50W EMA). 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH bounced perfectly off our 2680 support and looks to be holding above its trendline support of 2750. Although the RSI and StochRSI are still curving to the downside so I'll remain patient for the daily close. If we can close above trendline support, I'll turn bullish. Major support remains 2750, 2680, and 2560, while major resistance remains 2820, 2900-2930, 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 📊 SOL Analysis 📊 SOL bounced perfectly off of our 112 support as the RSI gets closer to oversold and the StochRSI waits to form a bullish divergence. If SOL can close the daily above 118, I'll turn bullish again. Major support remains 112 and 103, while major resistance is 117, 125, 131, 138, 145, 155, and 167. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data’s Alpha Circle — 1-Month Access Available 🔗 https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/gain-access-now/ Quote of the day ✍️ “You can’t optimize what you refuse to measure.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 We're seeing a big rally in the market as precious metals continue higher and stocks and BTC finally catch up. The FOMC meeting kicks off tomorrow with rates expected to remain unchanged, but everyone will be focused on Powell's commentary and any signals about the Fed Chair succession. The government shutdown risk continues to be a probably threat (at 78% via Polymarket), so we may see another dip as we approach Jan 31st. Trump also added more tariff uncertainty by raising levies on South Korea from 15% to 25%, while the EU and India responded by sealing their own trade deal in a direct rebuff to U.S. tariff policy. I'm remaining patient until we get clarity on both the Fed decision and the shutdown situation but will still take trades that align with our S/R levels and indicators: Key News Events - S&P 500 closes at new ATH of 6,978 - Gold reaches ATHs at 5,150 - US dollar reaches lowest level in 4 years - $2 trillion Morgan Stanley hires Head of Digital Assets Strategy - Jan 30th options expiry totals $8.5B on Deribit with max pain at $90k - Odds of a government shutdown remain at 79% (via Polymarket) amid Senate Democrats threatening to block spending package - Steak 'n Shake buys 5M worth of BTC for its SBR Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting (2pm EST Decision, 230pm EST Conference) - Jan 29th - US Senate to vote on crypto market structure legislation - Jan 30th - $8.5B BTC/ETH options expiry - Jan 31st - Government shutdown deadline (if no resolution) - Feb 1st - Full Moon (historically bullish) Summary ✍️ As we continue higher, it's imperative that you still take profits along the way. There's is still plenty of opportunity on the daily timeframe, but considering the number of events we have this week (Big tech earnings, FOMC, government shutdown concerns, and options expiry), it's imperative that you manage risk accordingly. I'm still very bullish for next week (Full Moon + most uncertainty will be resolved, pending gov't shutdown concerns), so it's just surviving until then that remains paramount. All of our indicators are playing out perfectly which is great to see, even in periods of high uncertainty. This is why it pays to focus on technicals and leave emotions aside. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 Our BTC analysis yesterday played out perfectly from the bullish divergence confirming, along with the momentum waves clipping to the upside after confirming a buy signal. Now we're approaching our major resistance of 90k (trendline resistance + horizontal). There's still a ton of room left on the daily to go higher but I would wait until indicators reset on the 4h if you're sidelined. Major support remains 88.2k, 86.7k, 80k, and 78k, while major resistance remains 90k, 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is also confirming our bullish thesis from yesterday after closing the daily back inside its upward channel while its momentum waves clip to the upside, giving plenty of room higher. If we can close the daily above 3050, I'll start targeting 3270 at the very least. The RSI is also close to crossing above its signal line which will help with the bullish momentum. Major support remains 2900-2930, 2820, 2750, and 2680, while major resistance remains 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ "If you’re serious about what you want, you will always find a way. 📊 Market Update 📊 Gold continued higher today which reflects a structural repricing of dollar-denominated risk amid converging fiscal, monetary, and geopolitical dislocations. This is reflected from the DXY's underperformance amid fears mounting following the New York Fed's rate check on USD/JPY while we also have the threat of a government shutdown Jan 31st (81% via Polymarket). We also have big tech earnings this week which is another reason for the continued chop in BTC (along with negative ETF flows for the 6th day in a row). Despite this, there still remains hope that Trump will announce BlackRock's Rick Rieder as Fed Chair this week, who has expressed interest in yield curve control tactics: Key News Events - Trump announces 25% tariffs on South Korean cars, pharmaceuticals, and lumber for delaying trade deal. - Trump warns of "major retaliation" if Europe sells US Securities - Jan 30th options expiry totals $8.5B on Deribit with max pain at $90k - Odds of a government shutdown rise to 81% (via Polymarket) amid Senate Democrats threatening to block spending package - Odds of BlackRock's Rick Rieder becoming next Fed Chair reaches 47% - Tucker Carlson suggests Bitcoin could replace the US dollar as the global reserve currency. - Michael Saylor's 'Strategy' buys 2,932 Bitcoin worth $257 million - Tom Lee's 'BitMine' buys 40,302 $ETH worth $117 million - The Fed is expected to hold rates steady at the Jan 28th FOMC meeting (99% chance via Polymarket) Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting (2pm EST Decision, 230pm EST Conference) - Jan 30th - $8.5B BTC/ETH options expiry - Jan 31st - Government shutdown deadline (if no resolution) - Feb 1st - Full Moon (historically bullish) Summary ✍️ Everyone's waiting for BTC to start outperforming again as the "digital gold" narrative resurfaces from Gold's outperformance this year. There are a ton of unknowns this week stemming from big tech earnings, FOMC, government shutdown concerns, and options expiry. This is when it pays to remain patient and keep your risk tight. As these events unfold, the uncertainty should dissipate and we should see a nice bounce by next week (pending negative news). We have a Full Moon Feb 1st which has historically been bullish 70% of the time, so if the stars align macro-wise, I will look to play it. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC looks good so far as it confirmed its bullish divergence on the daily StochRSI and has regained above its previous 88.2k resistance, although a second daily close above would confirm the reversal. The RSI is still curbing to the upside as BTC approaches its next major resistance of 90k. This also coincides with "max pain" for the futures options expiry this Friday. Major support remains 88.2k, 86.7, 80k, and 78k, while major resistance remains 90k, 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is starting to look very bullish as it closed back into its upward channel and attempts to break above resistance of 2930. The StochRSI is also curving back to the upside with the RIS is also showing positive momentum, along with our momentum waves printing bullish signals. As long as we can close the daily within the upward channel, I remain bullish. Major support remains 2900, 2820, 2750, and 2680, while major resistance remains 2930, 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Waiting for motivation is a subtle form of procrastination.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The weekend chop has been very rough amid thin liquidity ahead of multiple macro events. The crypto market continues to underperform vs precious metals as gold climbs above 5k and silver reaches $105. Markets are still positioning ahead of the FOMC meeting Wednesday and a heavy slate of Mag7 earnings (for stocks). We also have a potential government shutdown looming after Senate Democrats announced they would block the spending package unless DHS funding is removed. On top of this, Japan's PM Takaichi warned against "abnormal" yen moves, adding another layer of uncertainty. This is when it pays to be patient and only bid when the R/R is on your side: Key News Events - Canada says it has no plans to sign a "free trade deal" with China after President Trump threatens 100% tariffs - Odds of a government shutdown rise to 75% (via Polymarket) amid Senate Democrats threatening to block spending package - Japan PM Takaichi warns against "abnormal" yen market moves - Shanghai silver premiums surge to +17/oz, pushing local prices as high as $125/oz following China export ban - Federal government offices in D.C. closed Monday (Jan 26) due to inclement weather - The Fed is expected to hold rates steady at the Jan 28th FOMC meeting (97% chance via Polymarket) - Gold and Silver reach ATHs again above $5k and $105 respectively - Michael Saylor hints at buying more Bitcoin Upcoming Events - Jan 26th - Federal offices closed (D.C. weather); Big Tech earnings begin - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs (tentative) - Jan 31st - Government shutdown deadline (if no resolution) - Feb 1st - Full Moon (historically bullish) Summary ✍️ It's a pivotal week ahead with the Fed meeting, Big Tech earnings, and potential government shutdown all converging. This weekend price action has been very weak with thin liquidity amplifying moves to the downside. Precious metals continue to outperform as the "safe haven" trade remains in full force. The Fed is widely expected to hold rates steady, but all eyes will be on Powell's tone and any commentary on Fed independence amid Trump's continued pressure for lower rates. With so much uncertainty (shutdown risk, Fed, earnings, Japan), I'm remaining patient and waiting for clearer direction. Don't force trades in this environment. Wait for the dust to settle and for your indicators to be in confluence with major S/R lines. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC has held above its 86.7k support while the RSI is curving back to the upside and momentum waves are bottoming out. The StochRSI is also showing signs of reversing if Monday's stock market opens green. We have a lot of uncertainty this week so make sure to take profits quickly both ways as there will undoubtedly be volatility. Major support remains 86.7, 80k, and 78k, while major resistance remains 88.2k, 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is having a nice bounce above its major trendline support at 2750. The RSI and StochRSI are curving to the upside, while momentum waves look to be bottoming out. If it can close back into its upwards channel above 2930, it'll be very bullish. Major support remains 2820, 2750, and 2680, while major resistance remains 2930, 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Most doors look locked until you try the handle.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The markets continue to digest macro and geopolitical pressures as precious metals outperform while crypto still struggles. Gold is very close to reaching $5,000 and silver broke through $100 for the first time in history, both hitting new ATHs. The weak dollar, Japan's hawkish BOJ stance, and fading confidence in US assets continue to drive the safe-haven demand. Trump's Davos speech and subsequent "framework" deal on Greenland eased some immediate tariff concerns, but uncertainty remains with the FOMC meeting next week. In saying that, we've still had outperformance from a few memecoins, mainly PENGUIN (above 150mil in 1 week), which shows that retail is willing to invest despite the uncertainty: Key News Events - Senate Democrats to shut down US government if DHS & ICE funding is included, following fatal shooting in Minneapolis. - BOJ left rates unchanged but struck hawkish tone, boosting yen and pressuring risk assets - SEC and CFTC to hold joint event to discuss making the US the "crypto capital of the world." - Binance Founder CZ predicts Bitcoin will enter a supercycle this year. - President Trump threatens to impose 100% tariffs on Canada if they make a deal with China. Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs (tentative) Summary ✍️ The big story this week was Trump's Davos speech where he backed off military force threats for Greenland and withdrew tariff threats after reaching a "framework" with NATO. The markets initially rallied on the de-escalation but remain cautious. Until then, I will continue to place very strategic trades only when the R/R is favorable across S/R lines and indicators. The Fed is widely expected to hold rates steady next week (97% probability via Polymarket), but markets are still pricing in two cuts later this year. With rising Japanese yields pressuring carry trades and geopolitical uncertainty remaining elevated, I'm staying patient and waiting for cleaner setups. Remember, it's still the weekend, so volatility will be at an ATH. Never force a trade during uncertain macro environments, wait for confluence + confirmation from your indicators. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC has been range-bound between $88k-$91k this week after the Jan 20-21st liquidation flush. The bounce from $88k held, which aligns with the prior CME gap fill level. The StochRSI is attempting to curve higher from oversold territory but is already losing momentum. The Sharpe ratio has turned negative (levels last seen in 2018-19 and 2022 bear markets), which historically has marked bottoming zones but requires patience for confirmation. Major support remains 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH remains in its upward channel which is technically more bullish than BTC, especially considering the momentum waves are starting to clip to the upside, but we still need a daily close for confirmation. The StochRSI is oversold which means we should see some positive PA within the next few days if we can hold major support levels. As long as we remain within the channel, and preferably close above 2930, I remain bullish. Major support remains 2930, and 2820, while major resistance remains 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “You don’t need a sign. 📊 Market Update 📊 The market continues to chop amid ongoing macro uncertainty, with the dollar under pressure and precious metals extending their rallies to ATHs (silver crossed above $100). Trump's recent Davos address emphasized America's economic strength, tariffs, and commitment to making the US the crypto capital of the world (including pushing for crypto market structure legislation), which provided some supportive tone but hasn't fully offset risk-off sentiment from tariffs and global tensions. We saw notable liquidations above $1B recently, often a capitulation signal (and marks a bottom within 1-3 days), but volatility remains high, and patience is key until a clearer direction emerges: Key News Events - Trump delivers bullish "America First" speech at Davos, touts US economy as global engine, pushes tariffs, and reaffirms making America the crypto capital (hopes to sign crypto market structure legislation soon) - Binance Founder CZ predicts Bitcoin will enter a supercycle this year. - $6.9 trillion UBS to offer Bitcoin & crypto trading to clients. - Trump says mortgage rates just hit a three year low despite Fed Chair Jerome Powell being "wrong all along." - Kansas introduces bill to create a Bitcoin & crypto Strategic Reserve. - Gold and silver reach ATHs amid safe-haven demand - Bitmine adds over $100M in ETH holdings Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs (tentative) Summary ✍️ The markets digested Trump's Davos remarks positively in parts, highlighting economic miracles, tariff strategies, and pro-crypto stance, but broader risk-off flows from macro volatility, tariff escalations, and geopolitical noise is contributing to the chop. I remain tentatively bullish as we're still holding major support levels, but am waiting until the macro uncertainties clear to go full "risk-on." Until then, I will continue to place very strategic trades only when the R/R is favorable across S/R lines and indicators. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC's bearish divergence on the daily StochRSI fully played out and now both indicators are reset. Its support between 88.2-88.5k continues to hold and it's back within its upward channel so I'll reman bullish as long as we can maintain a closure above. Major support remains 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH continues to bounce off of its upward channel (very bullish), and the bearish divergence in the StochRSI fully played out which gives room for higher. The StochRSI is also oversold so as long as it can close within its upward channel, I remain bullish. Major support remains 2930, and 2820, while major resistance remains 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you would like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Most people aren’t lost; they’re just aggressively walking in the wrong direction.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 We're seeing markets digest significant macro and geopolitical pressure as the dollar continues to face declining confidence, which is contributing to precious metals reaching ATHs. Trump is meeting speaking at Davos today which is also adding to the volatility but it'll depends how the other countries react that will determine if we find a bottom or add to the uncertainty. We did have over $1B of liquidations which usually marks the bottom within 1-3 days, but I'm remaining patient until there's confirmation: Key News Events - Trump stated he wouldn't use force to acquire Greenland but that resistance would be remembered - Trump says inflation has been defeated. - Gold and Silver reach new ATHs - Trump signs executive order to restrict Wall Street investors from buying single-family homes. - CFTC Chair Michael Selig says Congress is very close to passing crypto market structure legislation. - Trump says the US will not have a trade deficit next year because of tariffs. - BTC recorded -480M of outflows while ETH recorded -230M of outflows Upcoming Events - Jan 21st - Trump speaks at Davos' World Economic Forum - Jan 22nd - PCE Data - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs (tentative) Summary ✍️ The big event to watch this week was Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum. He delivered a bullish, "America First" address, heavily touting the U.S. economy as an "economic miracle" and the global engine of growth. He also pushed for "immediate negotiations" to acquire Greenland (stating it's needed for security against Russia/China, insisting he won't use force but warning resistance would be remembered). The market is reacting somewhat positively to Trump's remarks with stocks recovering some of their gains and BTC finding support near 88k, but I'm remaining patient here as there as uncertainty remains with escalating tariffs and continued war tensions with Iran. During these times, never force a trade, and instead wait for clarity + confluence with your indicators. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC filled the CME gap at 88.2k and bounced perfectly as we mentioned in our last update. The RSI is starting to curve to the upside and the StochRSI is finally oversold (which could indicate a reversal is near). A close below 88.2k would be invalidation, but as long as we can hold that level, I remain tentatively bullish. Major support remains 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 92k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH bounced perfectly off of its 2930 support that also lines up with trendline support. Similar to BTC, its RSI is curving to the upside while its StochRSI is nearly oversold. I remain tentatively bullish on ETH as well as long as the daily closes above 2930. Major support remains 2930, and 2820, while major resistance remains 3050, 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you'd like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “The solution to anxiety is action.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The market continues to sell-off as the tariff wars continue and uncertainty rises between Trump and the EU. Gold and silver are reaching all-time highs due to their classic safe-haven demand amid this geopolitical uncertainty and trade/tariff escalation risks. Trump's Greenland push is seen as provocative by most which is causing a sell-off in equities (futures) at the same time: Key News Events - Trump stated he had a very good telephone call with Mark Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO, concerning Greenland and agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland, this week. - Silver reaches new all-time high of $95 and Gold reaches $4,700 for the first time in history - Treasury Secretary Bessent says Federal Reserve independence "does not mean no oversight." - United Kingdom at risk of recession due to President Trump's tariffs, The Telegraph reports. - Odds of the United States acquiring Greenland this year reach new all-time high on Polymarket at 20% - OpenAI to launch its first device this year (potentially causing a resurgence in the AI narrative) Upcoming Events - Jan 20th - CC companies deadline to cap interest rates at 10% - Jan 21st - Trump to speak at Davos' World Economic Forum - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 29th - PCE Data - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs Summary ✍️ The big event to watch this week is Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum on Jan 21st. That will tell us how close they are to a deal for Greenland and if there will be any resolution on the tariff war. Besides that, stay patient. During these volatile times, people feel the urge to trade. Only trade whenever you have major confluence on the daily/weekly timeframes while you're indicators are in confluence. There are still a lot of unknowns, especially ahead of the stock market open after a 3-day weekend. I'll be watching that closely for any signs of a recovery/resolution. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC remains in its channel but is still exhibiting bearish momentum as it crosses below its 50D EMA at 92.4k. The RSI and StochRSI are still in a downtrend but the StochRSI is getting close to oversold, signaling possible relief within the next few days. BTC is still on its way to making higher lows as long as we can close above 90.5k, otherwise I would start to target the CME gap at 88.2k. Major support remains 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 92.4k (50D EMA), 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is in a similar position as BTC as it crosses below its 50D EMA at 3170 and approaches its trendline support at 3080. The RSI and StochRSI are still exhibiting bearish momentum but the StochRSI is almost oversold so I'm also expecting some relief here within the next few days. Major support remains 3050, 2930, and 2820, while major resistance remains 3170 (50D EMA), 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you'd like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: Data's Alpha Circle - https://whop.com/datas-alpha-circle/upgrade-elite-access/ Quote of the day ✍️ “Clarity follows commitment.” ❌ BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! 📊 Market Update 📊 The market saw a sharp drop on Sunday amid tariff escalations between Trump and the EU. Initially, Trump added 10% tariffs on 8 EU countries and planned to raise them to 25% if a deal to acquire Greenland was not reached. In retaliation to the Greenland threats, the EU prepared up to $100 billion in tariffs & market restrictions on US companies. This caused precious metals to spike and risk-on assets to crash, triggering over $500M in liquidations within an hour. During the sell-off, privacy emerged as one of the strongest-performing sectors, with tokens such as XMR, DUSK, DASH, and DCR outperforming, reinforcing privacy as a key narrative in 2026: Key News Events - Trump imposes 10% tariffs on the following countries: France, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom. The tariffs will increase to 25% on June 1st if a deal to acquire Greenland is not reached. - European Union to suspend trade deal with US following President Trump's tariff threats, Bloomberg reports. - EU prepares up to $100 billion in tariffs & market restrictions on US companies in retaliation to Greenland threats. - Treasury Secretary Bessent says it's 'very unlikely' the Supreme Court rules against President Trump's tariffs. - Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says banks are trying to "kill" competition under the current crypto Clarity Act. Upcoming Events - Jan 20th - CC companies deadline to cap interest rates at 10% - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 29th - PCE Data - Jan 31st - Supreme Court decision on Trump's tariffs Summary ✍️ This week will be full of volatility as Trump and the EU attempt negotiations (which I expect will happen sooner rather than later). We also have the FOMC Meeting Jan 28th which will play a big role depending on Jerome Powell's outlook, along with the Supreme Court's decision on Trump's tariffs Jan 31st (of which the White House expects they will rule in favor). During these peak fear moments, it's imperative that you look for tokens/sectors that are outperforming (such as privacy), as those will undoubtedly continue. Also pay attention to dominance charts (USDT.D, BTC.D) and mcap/pairing charts (TOTAL2, TOTAL3, ETHBTC). This will help to identify patterns and spot reversals before most. I also like to watch 24h liquidations, as anything close to 1B usually marks the bottom within 1-3 days. I'll continue to watch ETF flows, liquidity clusters, and the macro environment for clear signs of reversal, but as long as we continue to make higher lows on the daily, I remain bullish. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC is in an upward channel but has broken through major support of 93.6k and sits just above the 50D EMA at 92.4k. If that doesn't hold then 90.4k would be our last level of making a higher low on the daily. The RSI crossed below its signal line, indicating more bearish momentum, while the StochRSI is completing its bearish divergence. We still have a few more days before the StochRSI becomes oversold, which could mean more chop until then. I would begin to DCA here given the magnitude of recent liquidations, but will be watching the next few days to see if we can consolidate above support before a reversal higher. Major support remains 92.4k (50D EMA), 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 94.6k, 97k (50W EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH continues to make higher lows as it also bounced off of its 50D EMA at 3165. Its RSI and StochRSI formed bearish divergences which are currently playing out (with the RSI just crossing below its signal line). I'm looking for ETH to hold 3165 here for bullish continuation, and at the very least, close above 3090 to maintain higher lows. Major support remains 3165 (50D EMA), 3050, 2930, and 2820, while major resistance remains 3270 (coincident with the 100D EMA/50W EMA), and 3500-3600. 📊 Market Update 📊 The market enters the weekend amid choppy PA for the past few days from regulatory uncertainty after the U.S. Senate Banking Committee postponed a key hearing tied to the Clarity Act, compounded by Coinbase leadership publicly opposing the bill’s current form. This is important because it affects the policy-risk premium that institutions price into crypto exposure. Although this is expected after the rally we had to 97k, so I would look at it as consolidation over anything: Key News Events - White House says it's "highly confident" the Supreme Court will rule in favor of President Trump's tariffs. - The Fed announced plans for ~$55.4B in Treasury purchases (reinvestments and reserve management) for the next 30 days - Treasury Secretary Bessent says tariffs did not lead to higher inflation. - US government says it did not, and will not sell any Bitcoin. - Trump threatens tariffs on countries that oppose US effort to acquire Greenland. - Odds of President Trump nominating Kevin Warsh as Fed chair surge to 59%, per traders on Kalshi. - Belarus leader Lukashenko signs decree to allow crypto banks. - BTC shows -394M of outflows while ETH still shows +4M of inflows - The F&G index falls to 50, indicating indecision across most participants Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 29th - PCE Data - Jan 31st - Potential SEC decision on Trump's tariffs Summary ✍️ Despite the large BTC outflows, there continues to be major catalysts ahead. One of the overhangs was the Supreme Court ruling on Trump's tariffs, which supposedly will be favorable for Trump, based on the recent White House and Treasury Secretary Bessent's comments. My only hesitation is the delay with the Clarity Act, but I assume this will get resolved by the end of the month. We also have adoption continuing to increase and the Fed's buybacks continuing for Treasury purchases (which is seen as 'QE Lite'). Needless to say, as long as we can continue making higher lows, and maintain momentum, I remain bullish. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 I'm still expecting BTC to pull back slightly more into support, considering the bearish divergence on the daily StochRSI is still playing out and we just had a bearish momentum clip on the EMA waves. In saying that, the daily indicators are starting to reset, so as long as we can hold above $94, I remain bullish. Major support remains 93.6k, 92k, 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 97k (50 weekly EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is continuing to make higher lows as it sits between the 100D EMA and 200D EMA. Its RSI and StochRSI are playing out their bearish divergence, but the RSI is slightly starting to clip up. My only hesitation is we currently have a red dot for the EMA momentum shifting to the downside, so if that confirm, we could see a little lower before a bounce. If 3270 doesn't hold, I would expect it to tap 3150 at the very least (50D EMA). If we can close the daily above 3350 then 3500-3600 (and potential shorting opp). Major support remains 3270 ((coincident with the 100D EMA and 50W EMA), 3150, 3050, 2930, 2820, and 2680, while major resistance remains 3350 (coincident with the 200D EMA), and 3500-3600. 👑 If you'd like to join my private group, see the pinned message or the link below: 💎 Monthly Access — $149 (Reg. $180) + Access to 1 Proprietary Indicator 📊 • Candle Matrix - https://www.tradingview.com/script/CGYxr1DR-Candle-Matrix-CryptoScripts • Synergy - https://www.tradingview.com/script/pVpG9bfo-Synergy-CryptoScripts • Spectrum Matrix - https://www.tradingview.com/script/BEvNYfjv-Spectrum-Matrix-CryptoScripts 👉 Join here: https://whop.com/checkout/plan_AzwMLeVbOvhrc Quote of the day ✍️ “You promised yourself you’re gonna go harder this year. +1
📊 Market Update 📊 The market had a pullback as expected as BTC approached its 50W EMA at 97.6k (major resistance), and multiple daily indicators became overbought. We've also had a few macro factors contributing, such as tensions between the US/Iran (as Trump called off a strike at the last minute), and Trump mentioning he didn't plan on firing Powell (after charges were brought up by the DOJ days prior). The back-and-forth recently has caused a lot of chop but I continue to remain cautiously optimistic: Key News Events - Goldman Sachs says it's "spending a lot of time" on crypto, tokenization and stablecoins. - Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says banks are trying to "kill" competition under the current crypto Clarity Act. - President Trump to cut tariffs on Taiwan to 15%. - CME Group to launch Cardano & Chainlink futures. - Trump says he has no plan to fire Fed Chair Jerome Powell. - Russia finalizes draft bill to legalize crypto trading. - Supreme Court will not issue a ruling on President Trump's tariffs until Jan 31st (at the earliest) Upcoming Events - Jan 28th - FOMC Meeting - Jan 31st - Potential SEC decision on Trump's tariffs Summary ✍️ Despite the recent pullback, we still have liquidity to the upside above 97k, which should get tagged after we reach major support near 94k. The biggest cloud right now remains war tensions, drama with the CLARITY Act (as it becomes delayed due to Coinbase objecting), the FOMC meeting Jan 28th, the SEC decision on Trump tariffs (potentially Jan 31st). As long as these remain, it's becomes much harder to break above major resistance levels. A positive sign is institutions are still investing (prior to today, we had 3 days of inflows), and adoption continues to increase. I'll continue to play the range until a significant level is broken. 📊 BTC Analysis 📊 BTC continues to make higher lows, but is still being rejected by the 50W EMA at 97.6k. The daily StochRSI is starting to form bearish divergence which would potentially bring us down to 93.5-94.6k (where I would look to long, as the weekly indicators are still very bullish). Major support remains 93.6k, 92k, 88.2k (CME Gap), 86.7k, and 80k, while major resistance remains 97k (50 weekly EMA), 100k, and 104k. 📊 ETH Analysis 📊 ETH is also making higher lows but is rejecting from its 200D EMA, while its RSI and StochRSI are forming a bearish divergence.
