#2nd_Years 🙂 I know I am late to post this 😔, but let me just post it anyway!🙂 As we all know, you joined the department and are now learning in it. You, the second-year engineering students, have joined various departments in the school. Some of you got into the department you desired, while others ended up in a department you didn’t want. There’s one quote we should remember every day: "Nothing happens without a reason!" Absolutely nothing! Everything occurs for a reason. While we may not understand how God is working in our lives, we can be sure that He is always paving the way for us, helping us with our daily activities, fighting for our better lives, making our families proud, and helping us build our dream lives. Perhaps God is guiding you in ways you don’t yet understand. It may not always seem interesting or straightforward, but He has a plan, and nothing is outside His control. You must remember this. So whatever you’re going through, don’t worry. God will see you through. Let’s add one more thing... No matter what department you’re in, remember that you’ve all been giving your best. Whether it's your desired department or not, as long as you’ve put in the effort, there’s no need to regret anything. Let God handle everything! Let’s all pray in our own religions and let God handle everything! We hope this second semester brings achievements, skill improvement, and significant progress in life. Even though there was no official announcement from our campus, almost all offices and services are closed today due to the 130th Adwa Victory Day. The libraries are closed, nearly all department offices are shut except for a few, and almost everything is off except for some exceptional cases. As we all know, Monday is Adwa Victory day. And in fact, there are students who will take final exams on Monday... I think block course takers. I talked to one of the deans of ASTU and asked if there will be classes on Monday as it's national Adwa Victory day. He replied, "No class on Monday due to Adwa Victory Day."
