GOARCH recognizing a female "bishop" as "Right Reverend".
“Precisely in this place, there is a remarkable image and example of cooperation between Orthodox Christians and Muslims, who believe in the one God, but who have certain differences connected both with history and with many other circumstances.”
Patriarch Kirill bread headed and from the ambo preaching that Orthodoxy and Islam have worship the same God. This took place July 21st, 2026.
I never seen ROCOR-MP SIMP for the heresy of a Patriarchate so hard as they have been with Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Patriarchate praying with a woman "bishop". Let me guess..."hE wASnT vEsTeD?"
Polished version:
This is an interesting spin on the already heretical "resist from within" Orthodox-Presbyterian ecclesiology of World Orthodoxy. Because the bishops they commemorate during the Liturgy are themselves heretics, they must now claim that the individual parish has become the criterion of Orthodoxy: "My parish is traditionalist." This is precisely what is being promulgated at Peter Heers’ new parish, where they commemorate the Romanian Metropolitan of America, a signatory of the heretical documents of the Council of Crete, according even to Peter Heers himself. This is the delusion and danger that heresy creates: it infects everything.
In my upcoming interview with Fr. Leonidas Pittos, PhD in History, we will discuss how professional historians approach Church history, the use of primary and secondary sources, the importance of oral history, and the difference between historical scholarship and hagiographical summaries.
We will also examine how the historical record of Orthodox resistance, from the Apostles and Fathers to the modern crisis of ecumenism, helps the faithful understand the patristic methodology of separating from public teachers of heresy.
This conversation will be about history, method, sources, and how Orthodox Christians can read the history of the Church more responsibly.
This is what World Orthodoxy are partakers in point ☝️ "acknowledgment of Christ’s presence beyond denominational
boundaries, and recognition of elements of the true Church in other traditions....faith of Nicaea cannot be reduced to doctrinal formulations alone.... We are obliged to expose how doctrines and traditions have been used to justify oppression." - WCC General Secretary
