Hyper-Casualization is a more recent cultural movement that has come as a response or counter to Hyper-Sensitization. Because of how much conversations where not being had because people believed the "conversations where to serious to be had lightly", there came a counter movement to treat conversations as casual as possible. While this allowed people to discuss their impairments or difficulties without having to be turn into an "inspiration" or a "role model for their kind", it also meant people who didn't understand the severity of these impairments or difficulties started using their terms in casual speak. Some examples of these are: "I'm so OCD" when a person wants a room to be clean "I have ADHD" when a person occasionally finds difficulty focusing "I'm having Intrusive thoughts" when people are having IMPULSIVE thoughts "He's a narcissist" when talking about an occasionally selfish person "Why are you gaslighting me" when they are confused "I'm so bipolar cutely" when they are unwilling to be held responsible for their actions and quickly shifting emotions Also as shown in some of these examples, the hyper-casual approach to mental health has allowed technical words to be weaponized by some people for their own interests. These results in people who wish to discuss their struggles or seek for help having to filter out all the people who are misusing terms and resources (benign or otherwise). These 2 movements on their own have made important discussions that need to be had about mental health very difficult to have. What even more unfortunate is these movements together end up creating a third movement: Hyper-Rejection. People who see the ways in which these movements fall flat, without understand why, reject both movements extremely, to the point where they even reject people with disabilities needs and their disabilities themselves. "You don't really need that wheelchair, do you?" "All you need is discipline!" "Your not some charity case, get over yourself!" So what am I suggesting needs to happen in order for us to actually improve conditions and have these difficult discussions that need to be had. As individuals I believe there are three things we can do to help ourselves and those who we care about. 1st. Be empathetic: We need to learn to understand what people are going through and how we could help them. This could also mean researching about the things we want to understand, discuss with other people who either have direct or indirect experience. Curiosity is key here, learn to listen, even if what is being said may go against what you currently understand or believe. You can form your opinions later, once you have a base understanding. 2nd. Be active: Symbolic support is pointless if there is no real action being done, we can directly help those we can or work to better conditions for those who cant. The goal is to make life better for us and them through direct action or inclusive construction. 3rd. Advocate: This can mean either educating those who are ignorant, fighting off those who are dismissive, or simply speaking about what you have learnt and started doing. All of these are as important to do for yourself as they are for others. Love yourself, Act for yourself and Advocate for yourself. I truly believe a better life is possible for all of use and so I hope that we can work towards it and see each other at the other side.
TL;DR In an attempt to normalize mental health, we accidently made it taboo again. I argue that Hyper-Sensitization and Hyper-Casualization (two social/cultural movements to normalize mental health) have ended up making mental health even more difficult to manage.

Mental Health Sundays The Accidental Re-Taboo-ification of Mental Health
Mental health as a topic has been a taboo for centuries. This is not a natural occurrence, with the forced incarceration of those with mental struggles and the long history of women being thrown into mental institutes for displaying the least amount of defiance, the taboo with regards to mental health is the result of the weaponization of mental health towards marginalized communities and the manufacturing of consent towards so many horrendous experiments. But for a few decades, there has been a lot of effort towards normalization and de-taboo-fying conversations about mental health, and these efforts have brought us to a present where these discussions can be had with much more freedom than before. But I'd argue that these attempts have made mental health discussion difficult to have in a different way. There have been 2 primary attempts (Due to the sheer size and spread, it would be more appropriate to call them social or cultural movements) to normalize mental health discussions 1, Hyper-Sensitization 2, Hyper-Casualization Hyper-Sensitization is the cultural movement to perceive people with mental health struggles not as shameful or weak defeatists, but as a pitiful and sad victims. The intent of this movement is to shift the topic of mental health (and also physical impairments) from terrible taboos that should only be had in secret to important and serious discussions that should be had by the proper authorities. Therefore, any conversation of mental health needs to be dealt with extreme care and sensitivity. While this has prevented a lot of people from be explicitly discriminatory towards those with confirmed mental health issues, it has also resulted in conversations of mental health to be very difficult to have. Many people are either too scared of saying the wrong things, or believe that all that they need to do is listen to what some authorities say and they are complete. Its also allowed for a new form of implicit discrimination, where people in their fear of mentioning disabilities, disorder or impairments are now incapable of addressing any needs of those who are impaired.

Fiction concept A world where an obsession with a conceptual idea allows u the ability to actualize it for example: -an obsession over the interaction between mass and energy and their transistion into eachother gives u the ability to turn any object u wish into a nuke -an obsession over assymetry along all axes, local and global, gives u an ability to create controlled assymetry(+ - : electricity, N S : magnetism, etc.)
