A university in eastern Poland specialized in importing African students is struggling due to new laws.
During PiS government large numbers of Zimbabweans would get English language degrees in things like nursing, tourism, cosmetology. The goal of students was to use the degree as a way to get a job in western European nursing home. Some failed and settled in Lublin.
The Tusk government introduced a law that private universities could not exceed 50% foreigners. This decimated the university. Even when offering Poles 80% discounts to attend they could not attract enough Polish students. The university now can not pay its staff
