Lake Mir, Dugi Otok in Croatia🇭🇷 Only separated from the sea by a cliff is the saltwater lake Mir ("peace"). It is located in the centre of the Telašćica Nature Park on the island of Dugi Otok, and its water temperature is always two to three degrees higher than in the surrounding sea. The water of the lake is shallow, salty and not completely separated from the nearby sea. During high tide, the lake basin is filled with seawater through cracks in the bedrock. Nearby are the impressive 160 metre high Stene cliffs. 👉Slavic World👈
