FARA filings reveal how Israel quietly embeds itself in the U.S. media ecosystem through layers of contractors. One little-known firm, Targeted Communications Global LLC, plays a crucial role as a subcontractor shaping American news coverage and ad campaigns on behalf of Israel’s Foreign Ministry and Tourism Ministry. In March 2025, Targeted Communications registered under FARA as working under direction and control of the Israeli MFA, but receiving payment via SKDK (SKDKnickerbocker) — a powerhouse U.S. PR firm. Their task: coordinated outreach to Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, Newsmax and dozens of journalists to amplify Israel’s messaging across U.S. media. By August 2025, they added a new contract with Israel’s Ministry of Tourism (LAPAM), this time subcontracted through Havas Media Group USA. Their role: “communications and media relations” for a multimillion-dollar Israeli ad campaign targeting Americans... The result: foreign state messaging becomes indistinguishable from domestic discourse.
