🇹🇬 BREAKING: A hacker breached AI music company Suno using the Shai-Hulud worm and released source code showing how its training set was built:
- 113,879 hours of YouTube Music
- 62,117 hours of Pond5
- 12,287 hours of Deezer
- plus Genius lyrics and a plan to download roughly 1 million hours of podcasts
The same intrusion reached customer emails, phone numbers, and Stripe payment data for what the hacker says is hundreds of thousands of users.
Suno dates the incident to November 2025, calls it limited, and says individual notifications were not warranted. Customers are surprised to not have been informed about the breach.

🇹🇬UPDATE: YouTube updates reaction options for Shorts
YouTube is updating its Shorts playback UI by removing the thumbs up and thumbs down icons and switching to a heart icon instead.
So now, if a viewer likes a video, they can tap the heart icon in-stream, and if they don’t like it, they can go into their menu options and select from YouTube’s “Not Interested".
However, this also means a change in data for creators, with Shorts now losing the dislike data. YouTube said creators will still have access to historical dislike data for Shorts in YouTube Studio, but this count will stop updating for Shorts at the end of June.

While WhatsApp claims the feature is about user privacy, the government has asked it to pause rollout in India and sought an explanation within three days, saying it is concerned the feature will boost cybercrime.
In a notice to Meta, the government has asked that it furnish a detailed explanation on the "usernames" feature within three days. Until consultation on the matter is over, the feature cannot be rolled out, as the government has directed.
