| 16 | THEORY: V2 protected Lust
Hi! I've had this theory for awhile now, ever since the ULTRAREVAMP update, and I only now got the courage to post about it! I think more people should share what they think about this, because I think there are some ties that totally make sense and add more character to V2!!
I'll start with V2's introduction, which is the end of the Limbo layer, direct transition to Lust.
First of all, I'd like to point out V2 does not get spawned into the arena by Hell, rather, they break into it themselves. I find this interesting because, as far as I remember, they are the only one out of two characters in the game (except for prime sanctums) that decided to fight V1 themselves (second being Gabriel).
It is also interesting that V2 meets V1 at the entrance to Lust. In my mind, I see this as them fending off hostile machines that could harm the remaining citizens of Lust; which would explain why they are there out of their own volition.
If they were there for the blood, why would they backtrack? (Maybe I'm reaching here)
Second thing I'd like to point out is 4-4, transition to Wrath. However, I must say this might be a bit of a reach as well. From ULTRAREVAMP update, we know that Wrath had canals that connected to Lust. Once again, V2 is at the end of Greed, awaiting V1. The terminal entry says it wanted revenge, but I don't think that was the only reason. As the stone plaque in 5-1 suggests, Lust citizens were trying to rescue those stuck in Ocean Styx, maybe V2 was aware of this, and that's why it wanted to take down V1 before they could reach Wrath, so other sinners would have a chance of escape.

The picture I'm getting: Upon descending into hell, V2 found Lust, a peaceful city, and found familiarity of humanity inside of it; every sinner in hell IS a soul of a human. They decided to fend off the hostile machines, as their purpose is, quite literally, protecting humanity. If Lust was peaceful, I highly doubt V2 would be on a killstreak.
Another interesting thing I'd like to point out is V2's second terminal entry, which explicitly states that they killed other machines. As we know, everything has blood, not only machines, so in theory V2 could kill husks to get blood, and V1 was behind it, so it wasn't like hell was empty. This seems like a deliberate choice.

And finally, the thing that really makes me think that V2 and Lust are tied together is this:

'Spiral staircase', the song that plays during the descent to Minos Prime's arena in P-1 is 'Sourire d'Avril' by Maurice Depret. This song also plays in 4-4 when ascending to V2's arena, although very very slowed down.
Music is one of the most important parts in ULTRAKILL. I think it's not a reach to find a connection between the two levels.
These are just my thoughts, though! I really enjoy the theory, it makes me think of V2's death in a new perspective, and in general feels like a good expansion of their character! Haven't seen anyone discuss this, so I might be the first person to think of this? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts! Sorry if this is a bit messy, first time posting a long reddit post lol

| 17 |  How come the electric railcannon doesn't always kill this second virtue?
It happens to me here soooo often and it's infuriating. Even if I perfectly align them up, it still doesn't work. This only happens here, and I'm trying to find a way to kill them both more consistently, any tips would be nice.

| 19 |  Why is there a Dual wield power-up in my Cybergrind?
I didn't use any cheats whatsoever, but I don't know how it appeared there. Does a Certain enemy drop it?, because I killed a Power in that spot. (Also reason why I have 0 style and how there's one enemy left is because I made a streetcleaner get stuck on the bouncy pads so I could see and understand why there is a dual wield power-up)
