Today, the 23th of September the Autumnal Equinox occurs – an originally pagan tradition celebrated in Scandinavia and in northern Europe. The custome is mainly to celebrate the harvests of the year, and preparing for the dark season approaching, and we say farewell to the bright half of the year. The sun is now completely vertical to the equator, which means that day and night are the same length.
The Autumn Blót is usually taking place at the Autumnal Equinox now at the end of September, to welcome the arrival of autumn. This blót is mainly aimed to Sunna, Odin and Freja. If the Autumn Blót is combined with the Harvest Blót, you can also honor harvest gods such as Thor, Siv and Frej. Autumn has made its entrance, and we get to harvest what we have grown during the summer half-year. The very word 'Höst' (in Swedish) or 'Haust' in Old Norse means 'to harvest'.
The Autumn -and Spring Equinoxes have been noticed since the pre-Roman Iron Age, which we know today from the stone settings and other weather/direction-oriented ancient monuments and stone calendars. The most famous is the one at Ales Stenar in Sweden. The Pagan peoples of Northern Europe already had well-developed astronomical knowledge to be able to predict the Equinoxes. King Harald V became the first Norwegian monarch born in Norway in 567 years. He was succeeding his father on January 17, 1991. The previous one being Olav Håkonsson, who became king in 1380.
Under the constitution in 1991, the King held supreme command of the Norwegian Armed Forces. He holds the military rank of four-star general in the Air Force, and admiral in the Navy.
King Harald V distinguished himself in numerous national and international sailing competitions. As Crown Prince, he represented Norway at the Olympic Games three times: in 1964, 1968 and 1972. His best Olympic result was an 8th-place finish in the 5.5 meter class. When he was Crown Price, he also carried the Norwegian flag at the opening of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964.

A young native Swedish father was two days ago brutally murdered by african invaders in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Christian, an off-duty police officer and football supporter was watching the Norway - Ivory Coast football match on a big outdoor screen at the fan zone, when an african gang suddenly attacked Christian and his friends while they were cheering at a goal.
One of the african invaders swung a fist at Christian who fell to the ground. After that, several of the invaders ran over and jumped, stomped Christian in the head while he was lying on the ground.
Christian was killed by africans for no other reason than being white. This could be your son, husband, father, friend or brother. Yet, another beautiful life taken away from us to the cost of the multicultural hell-agenda.

Midsummer and Summer Solstice marks the longest and brightest day of the year – peak of summer. Nature is right now full of life and wonders, and the nights here are very bright. Further up north in Scandinavia we now have a phenomenon called Midnattssol (midnight sun). The sun never sets during the summer months, and leaves the nights here very bright and magical.
We are a people of the sun – Sunna. Scandinavia has ancient traditions based on our different seasons and the position of the sun, like the Summer Solstice (Midsummer) and the first fullmoon after the Winter Solstice (Jul), which was established long before the Christianization of Scandinavia. Much of the origin of the Old Norse roots still exists today in our current traditions, as our pagan ancestors once celebrated them.

☀️ Happy Midsummer!! 🇸🇪
Today we celebrate Midsummer here in Sweden, Scandinavia – one of our most loved traditions during the year. This Sunday, the Summer Solstice occurs, and in the old peasant society, Midsummer/Summer Solstice was an important turning point: the time before Midsummer was marked by a giving to the soil, while the time after was to reap what the soil gave back to us.
☀️ The holiday symbolizes fertility, prosperity and the brightest day of the year: The Summer Solstice – which occurs on Sunday, and is the longest and brightest day of the year. According to old folk beliefs, the nights around the Summer Solstice and Midsummer are considered to be spiritual and full of wonders, now when nature is the most abundant.
☀️ According to old Scandinavia tradition around this time, women of the household on the farm went out into the fields to wake up the elves dwelling there with rhymes and songs to encourage them to ensure us with growth, and good harvest. This could be the foundation of the still remaining tradition of women wearing a Midsummer wreath. Another old custom is to pick seven different wild flowers, place them under the pillow, and let your dream reveal your future husband.
☀️ Midsummer is an ancient, originally pagan tradition that we mainly celebrate here in Scandinavia and in northern Europe. Scandinavia has ancient traditions based on our different seasons and the position of the sun, like the Summer Solstice (Midsummer) and the first fullmoon after the Winter Solstice (Jul), which was established long before the Christianization of Scandinavia. Other European ethnic groups also celebrate Solstice in similar ways.
☀️ To light a Midsummer fire -or Midsommarblót and bracing a Maypole is one of the older elements of Summer Solstice and Midsummer. It's in worship to the god of honor Freyj, and the earth goddess Gerd, and ofcourse the sun – Sunna. On a rock carving in Gerum, Sweden from the Nordic Bronze Age, there are depictions of how to brace a Maypole and dance around it (picture nr 3).
☀️ The word 'Maypole' is derived from the word 'maja' – an older term meaning "to adorn with leaves" which we do with the Midsummer pole. Even today in Scandinavia, much of the origin of the Old Norse roots still exists in our current traditions – as our pagan ancestors once celebrated them. I gamla bondesamhället var Sommarsolståndet/Midsommar en viktig brytpunkt: tiden innan Midsommar präglades av ett givande till jorden, medans tiden efter var till för att skörda det jorden gav tillbaka.
☀️ Midsommar symboliserar fruktsamhet, lyckosamhet och framförallt årets ljusaste dag: Sommarsolståndet som infaller nu på söndag – den längsta och ljusaste dagen på året. Enligt gammal folktro anses nätterna vid Sommarsolståndet/Midsommar vara spirituella och fulla av under, nu när naturen är som ymnigast.
