Context
✅ The
Union Minister of Commerce & Industry launched the
BHAVYA Portal in New Delhi.
✅ It marks the operationalisation of the
₹33,660 crore Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), aimed at developing
100 world-class, investment-ready industrial parks across India.

end-to-end single-window digital platform for managing the complete lifecycle of industrial parks
✅ Serves as the interface for
state project submissions, real-time construction monitoring, and investor mapping
✅ Designed to facilitate
plug-and-play industrial infrastructure

Challenge-Based Selection: States compete by submitting
Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) highlighting land availability, industrial strengths, and investor interest

Tier-Based Park Sizes:

25 acres – Hilly regions, Union Territories & Northeast
•
100–500 acres – Mid-sized states
•
Up to 1,000 acres – Urban peripheries and major industrial hubs

51:49 Partnership Model: States provide land, while the Centre funds core infrastructure through
NICDC
✅
Phased Rollout: First batch of
20 parks selected from applications submitted between
1 June–31 July 2026, followed by
30 additional parks

High-Tech Enclaves: Dedicated spaces for
deep-tech industries, startups, R&D centres and Global Capability Centres (GCCs)

Integrated Quality Testing Labs: Developed in partnership with
BIS, Export Inspection Agency (EIA) and FSSAI

Global Expatriate Hubs: Provision for international enclaves with housing and social infrastructure for investors from countries like
Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Switzerland
