The leaders of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso have signed a charter to establish the Sahel Alliance Confederation.

In preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the Armenia-U.S. joint exercise "EAGLE PARTNER 2024" will be held from July 15 to 24 in Armenia, according to a statement from the Armenian Defense Ministry. Service members from the peacekeeping brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, the U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard will participate in the exercise. According to the statement, the exercise will focus on stabilization tasks between conflicting parties during a peacekeeping mission. The purpose of the exercise is to enhance the interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in control and tactical communication, and improve the readiness of the Armenian unit. It’s important to note that the Armenia-U.S. joint exercise "EAGLE PARTNER 2023" commenced on September 11, 2023, at the "Zar" Training Center of the Peacekeeping Brigade of the Ministry of Defense.
