Scheduled to take place on 21-22 August, 2026, the event offers participants opportunities to win seed funding, receive direct mentorship from industry leaders, and gain practical experience in turning ideas into active business ventures.
The hackathon is open to students enrolled at any college or university in Addis Ababa, with final-year graduating students particularly encouraged to apply. To be eligible, applicants must form teams of four to six members, and each team is required to include at least two female participants.
