”Put any burden on me; only sustain me. Send me anywhere; only go with me. Sever any tie but this which binds me to Thy service and to Thy heart. Amen.”
Found written on a piece of paper in General Robert E. Lee’s Bible #HeritageOfFaith
A new flag for The Virginia Flaggers’ Rt 460 Sutherland Station Memorial Battle Flag! We are so thankful for our volunteers who serve as Guardians of the flags at our 30+ flag sites across the Commonwealth…and for each of you whose generous support makes it all possible.
True story from the Centennial of Lee's Surrender at Appomattox:
Robert E. Lee, IV was to be on hand for the surrender event. Shortly after leaving Richmond, and headed toward Appomattox, Lee was pulled over by a Virginia State Trooper. Addressing Mr. Lee, the trooper asked, "Are you Robert E. Lee, IV?"
"Yes sir, why, was I speeding?" responded Lee. "No, sir" answered the trooper.
The trooper then asked, "Are you headed to Appomattox for the surrender event?"
"Why, yes, I am. Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to give you some advice."
"What's that?" inquired Lee.
"Whatever you do, don't sign anything."
And with that, the trooper saluted and returned to his cruiser.

Shoutout to the Charlotte County Grays SCV Camp, who added this banner to our newly relocated Rt 360 Charlotte County Grays Memorial Battle Flag site for April! We are so thankful for their hard work as Guardians of the flag for this beautiful memorial! #ConfederateHistoryMonth2026
Today, we remember Jesse W. James who on this day was murdered 144 years ago by a so called friend who's name is unworthy to appear here. A Missourah native, a Confederate guerrilla, and forever a legend.
When real men ruled the Commonwealth...
"I wish to tell you for Virginia, from generation to generation, we will cherish the old Confederate soldier; we will cherish his cause and cherish his heroism and cherish his glory; the courage and glory which is surrounding the Confederacy with a renoun that is imperishable. Those long hours of suffering and trial still hold us together in the future as it has in the past—one in love of this magnificent country, and so help us God, that the sacrifice and the love equal to what the late Confederate soldier gave to the cause where the present Confederates will stand together in affection and harmony and forever. '' Claude A. Swanson, May 30, 1907
Governor of Virginia, born on this date, March 31, 1862

Be with the Southern soldier
We'll drive the mercenary horde
Beyond our Southern border

We'll drive the mercenary horde

I Good morning, Dixie! Members of the Delaware Grays SCV Camp fold the retired flag before raising a new one at the Delaware Confederate Soldiers’ Memorial at the conclusion of their annual Memorial Service over the weekend. Despite numerous attempts by state and local officials to force the removal of the flag, these men remain steadfast in their determination to keep it flying and never let the men of Delaware who fought for Southern Independence be forgotten. God bless their eternal memory and the men who defend their honor!
This was JEB Stuart’s banjo player during the War. He became sick and died near Orange, Virginia.

President Trump installed a statue of Christopher Columbus outside the Eisenhower Executive Office Building near the White House. It’s a replica of one destroyed in the 2020 riots in Baltimore.
“Christopher Columbus is a hero. And he will continue to be honored as such by President Trump,” a White House spokesman said.
Great start! Now let’s get busy restoring ALL of the monuments destroyed by the woke mob.
“I am with the South in death, in victory or defeat. I never owned a N*gro and care nothing for them, but these people have been my friends and have stood up to me on all occasions. In addition to this, I believe the North is about to wage a brutal and unholy war on a people who have done them no wrong, in violation of the constitution and the fundamental principles of the government. They no longer acknowledge that all government derives its validity from the consent of the governed.” Gen. Patrick Cleburne, CSA, born on this day, March 17, 1828.
VCU makes it to the NCAA tournament, but is still woke garbage. We will never forget their actions (coaches and athletes) in support of the illegal and immoral destruction of the veterans’ memorials on Monument Avenue. #BoycottVCU #Unforgivable
