🇫🇮 Remembering Simo Häyhä (1905-2002) On this day 20 years ago, Simo Häyhä, known as ‘White death’ passed away. Häyha is often regarded as one of the deadliest snipers in world history, serving as a Finnish military sniper in World War II during the 1939-1940 winter war. His kill count is to believed to be around 500 Red Army soldiers In an interview in 2001, he was asked if he was remorseful for killing so many people, he replied "I did what I was told to do, as well as I could. There would be no Finland unless everyone else had done the same." RIP
