Do this to stop doing Sins! Shaykh AbdurRazzaq Al-Badr( May Allah protect him)

The Significance Of Seeking Guidance From Allaah In All Our Affairs: The statement of the great companion Jaabir Ibn `Abdullaah رضي الله عنهما that the Prophet ﷺ used to teach them the way of doing al-Istikhaarah in all matters, just as he taught them a Surah from the Qur’aan, highlights the emphasis that the Prophet ﷺ placed on seeking Allaah’s guidance in all our affairs. Allaah تعالى said: ﴿وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ اتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِّنَ اللَّهِ﴾ And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allaah? Who could be more misguided than someone who had the chance to seek guidance from Allaah and seek the straight path that leads to happiness both in this world and the Hereafter, but instead chooses ignorance, depends on his own understanding, and follows his desires? Is there anyone more misguided than such a person? The significance of this Duaa is also understood from the perspective that the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate to Allaah تعالى for guidance in the night prayers in Duaa Qunoot in Witr, saying: اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ “O Allaah, guide me among those whom You have guided.” Moreover, even in the daily prayers, the Believers continually seek Allaah’s guidance, particularly in Surah Al-Faatiḥah, where they recite: ﴿اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ﴾ Guide us to the straight path This plea for guidance is echoed in the Du`aa al-Istikhaarah, a specific supplication taught by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for seeking Allaah’s guidance in making decisions. By engaging in al-Istikhaarah, we adhere to a Sunnah and cultivate our trust in Allaah’s Supreme Wisdom.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported that Rasoolullah ﷺ said: Allah, the Exalted, said: “I have divided the prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant will have what he asks for. When the servant says: الحمد لله رب العالمين Allah says: ‘My servant has praised Me.’ When he says: الرحمان الحريم Allah says: ‘My servant has extolled Me.’ When he says: مالك يوم الدين Allah says: ‘My servant has glorified Me.’ And when he says: ايّاك نعبد وايّاك نستعين Allah says: ‘This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will have what he asks. When he says: اهدنا الصّراط المستقيم، صراط الذين انعمت عليهم، غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضّآلّين Allah says: ‘This is for My servant, and My servant will have what he has asked for. [Sahih Muslim - 395]

One of the poets said: A complete man is one with two things:
• a beard on his face. • a wife at home.

•• Among the subtle and insightful accounts mentioned is that a man asked Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the prayer in Mina—meaning, why was it shortened? Ibn Umar asked him: "Have you heard of Muhammad ﷺ?!" The man replied: "Yes, and I believed in him." Ibn Umar said: "Then indeed, he used to pray two Rak'ahs in Mina." — [Musnad Ahmad 5240] This is how true submission and following (the Prophet) should be. It is sufficient for you to know that the Prophet ﷺ used to do so, and at that point, you have no choice but to do as he did.

Better for him than three large, fat, pregnant she-camels: عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أيحب أحدكم إذا رجع إلى أهله أن يجد فيه ثلاث خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامِ سِمَانٍ؟» قلنا: نعم، قال: «فثلاث آيات يقرأ بهن أحدكم في صلاته خيرٌ له من ثلاث خلفات عظام سمان».   [صحيح] - [رواه مسلم] Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Would any one of you like to find three large, fat, pregnant she-camels when he returns to his family?" We said: 'Yes.' He said: "Three verses that one of you recites in his prayer are better for him than three large, fat, pregnant she-camels."   [Sahih/Authentic. - (Muslim)]

"I fear that sleeping through prayer among the youth might shift from being seen as a frightening sin into being considered a light habit—one that families become comfortable with, parents get used to, and that becomes part of holiday rituals. Thus, homes turn into hubs for making up missed obligatory prayers, rather than beautifying them with voluntary acts of worship (Nawafil). Do not let your holidays become an open-ended vacation from your appointments with Allah. For nothing is more beloved to Him than an obligatory duty performed, and nothing is more detestable to Him than a neglected right or a committed sin."

Rasoolullah ﷺ was asked: A man said: Ya Rasoolullah ﷺ, should I dedicate one-third of my supplication to sending Salat upon you?’ He ﷺ said: ‘Yes, if you wish. He asked: ‘Then two-thirds?’ He ﷺ said: ‘Yes.’ He then said: ‘Then all of my supplication?’ Rasoolullah ﷺ replied: Then Allah will suffice you in all that concerns you from the matters of your worldly life and your Hereafter.

Allah says in surah al-A'raf: [وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا] Allah has the most beautiful names so call on Him by them. [180] Commenting on this, al-Qurtubi wrote: [قوله تعالى : فادعوه بها أي اطلبوا منه بأسمائه ; فيطلب بكل اسم ما يليق به ، تقول : يا رحيم ارحمني ، يا حكيم احكم لي ، يا رازق ارزقني ، يا هاد اهدني ، يا فتاح افتح لي ، يا تواب تب علي ; هكذا] "So call on Him by them" - i.e. seek your needs from Him through His names, asking for each thing with a fitting name. For example, you can say, "O Raheem, have mercy on me," or "O Hakeem, judge in my favor," or "O Raziq, provide for me," or "O Hadi, guide me," or "O Fattah, open things up for me," or "O Tawwab, forgive me," and so on. Ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Undoubtedly, frequently mentioning Allah, seeking forgiveness, and sending prayers and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are among the greatest factors in bringing peace and tranquility to the hearts. Furthermore, finding solace in Allah, the Exalted, and feeling closeness to Him, leads to the elimination of loneliness, anxiety, and confusion." • Majmu' al-Fatawa (11/209).
