قال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله: Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, said: « لا تكره شيئًا اختاره الله، قد يختار الله شيئًا فيه مصلحة عظيمة لا تدري عنها أنت » "Do not dislike something that Allah has chosen. Allah may choose something that contains great benefit, of which you are unaware." رياض الصالحين (٣٠٩/٣)

وهكذا إذا رأيت من نفسك أَنَّكَ كُلَّما تَلَوْتَ القرآن ازددت إيمانًا؛ فإنَّ هذا من علامات التوفيق. "Thus, if you notice that every time you recite the Quran, your Imaan increases, then this is a sign of guidance."

اجعل مَن يراكِ يعلم أنَّ فيكِ قُرآنًـــا.

Let those who see you know that there is Qur'an within you. ♡

Perhaps your Lord will replace your sorrows with joy soon.

قال تعالى: { لَهُم الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ‏}‏ "For them are Good tidings in this worldly life and in the Hereafter."

أما البشارة في الدنيا، فهي‏:‏ الثناء الحسن، والمودة في قلوب المؤمنين، والرؤيا الصالحة، وما يراه العبد من لطف الله به وتيسيره لأحسن الأعمال والأخلاق، وصرفه عن مساوئ الأخلاق‏.‏

As for the good tidings in this world, they include: praise and good reputation among the believers, sincere affection in their hearts, righteous dreams, and witnessing Allah's kindness towards facilitating the good deeds and morals while diverting one from bad character traits.

وأما في الآخرة، فأولها البشارة عند قبض أرواحهم، كما قال تعالى‏:‏ ‏{‏إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ‏}‏ وفي القبر ما يبشر به من رضا الله تعالى والنعيم المقيم‏.‏ وفي الآخرة تمام البشرى بدخول جنات النعيم، والنجاة من العذاب الأليم‏

In the Hereafter, the first glad tidings come at the moment of death, as Allah says: "Indeed, those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remain steadfast—the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised."(41:30). In the grave, there will be glad tidings of Allah's pleasure and eternal bliss. In the Hereafter, the completion of glad tidings will be entering the Gardens of Delight and being saved from the severe punishment.

ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān al-Barrāk said : الشرك الأكبر يتميز بثلاث خصائص : أولًا : أنه لا يُغفر. ثانيًا : أنه موجب للخلود في النار. ثالثًا : أنه يحبط جميع الأعمال. al-Shirk al-ʾAkbar is distinguished by three traits : • That it is not Forgiven • That it necessitates Eternal Dwelling in the Fire • That it Nullifies all Deeds شرح القواعد الأربع

قال السفاريني -رحمه الله-: ‏"العلم كالسّيف، إن أعطيتَه لِتَقيّ قاتل به في سبيل الله، وإن ألقيتَه لِشَقِيّ قطع به الطريق، وأضرّ عباد الله". غذاء الألباب ⁩(١/ ٥٨).

Al-Saffarini - may Allah have mercy on him - said: "Knowledge is like a sword; if you give it to a pious person, he will fight with it in the way of Allah, and if you give it to a wicked person, he will cut off the road and harm the servants of Allah." Ghidha' al-Albab (1/58).

Sufyān ath-Thawrī (رحمه الله) said: «لِيَكُنْ جَلِيسُكَ مَنْ يُزَهِّدُكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَيُرَغِّبُكَ فِي الآخِرَةِ، وَإِيَّاكَ وَمُجَالَسَةَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي حَدِيثِ الدُّنْيَا؛ فَإِنَّهُمْ يُفْسِدُونَ عَلَيْكَ دِينَكَ وَقَلْبَكَ.»

Let your companion be the one who makes you abstain from the world and increases your desire for the Hereafter. Beware of sitting with the people of the dunya who immerse themselves in worldly talk, for they corrupt your religion and your heart.

Ḥilyat al-Awliyā: 7/82

Luqmān said to his son: Speak the truth even if it is against yourself and do not care about who is getting angry. [اداب الشريعة جلد رقم ١ صحفة ٧٤]

أغيثوا قلوبكم بذكر الله Revive your hearts with the remembrance of Allāh, ولا تَحبسوا عنها ماء الحياة and do not withhold from them the water of life: سبحان الله subhan’Allāh, والحمد لله alhamdulillāh, ولا إله إلَّا الله la ilaha illallāh, والله أكبر Allāhu akbar.

Al-Shāfiʿī (رحمه الله) said: ليس إلى السلامة من الناس سبيل ؛ فانظر ما فيه صلاحُك فالزمه

There is no way to be safe from the people, so look to that which rectifies you and adhere to it.

Tārīkh Dimashq (51/412)

FRIDAY NIGHT ‏زيِّنوا ليلة الجمعة بالصلاة على النَّبِيِّ ﷺ Adorn the night of Friday with sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. اللَّـهُـــمَّ صَلِّ وَسَـلِّمْ عَـلَى نَبَــيِّـنَـا مُـحَـمَّدٍ

إنّي لأخجلُ من ذنوبي كلّما مدّ الودودُ حبالَ نعمتهِ إليّ.

I feel ashamed of my sins every time the Most Loving extends the ropes of His blessings toward me.

،‎يا أهل القرآن “O people of the Qur’an, ؤد‎ماذا زرع القرآن في قلوبكم؟ what has the Qur’an produced in your hearts? ‎فإن القرآن ربيع القلوب For the Qur’an is the spring of the hearts, ‎كما أن الغيث ربيع الأرض just as rain is the spring for the earth.” ‎الجامع لأحكام القرآن [16/53]

𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 Allāh ﷻ said:

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ

“And his (Abu Lahab's) wife, the carrier of firewood.” [سورة المسد:٤] Qatādah, Mujāhid, and As-Suddi all said:

كَانَتْ تَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ وَتَنْقُلُ الْحَدِيثَ فَتُلْقِي الْعَدَاوَةَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، وَتُوقِدُ نَارَهَا كَمَا تُوقَدُ النَّارُ بِالْحَطَب

“She used to go about engaging in gossip and transmitting reports, thereby sowing enmity among people. She would kindle its fire as one kindles a physical fire with wood.” [تفسير البغوي]

The Messenger ﷺ said:

The strong person is not the one who can physically overpower others, rather the strong person is the one who can control himself when he becomes angry.

[صحيح البخاري ٦١١٤]

What are you afraid of losing when nothing in this world is really yours? – You cling to outcomes as if you control them. – You worry about people as if you own their hearts. – You run after life as if it can’t be taken in a moment. Allaah ﷻ has already mentioned:

لله ما في السماوات وما في الارض

“To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth.” [سورة البقرة ٢٨٤] Read it again!!! Everything you call ‘mine’ is only on loan. Your parents. Your spouse. Your children. Your wealth. Your health. Your time. Duniya becomes heavy when you hold borrowed things like they’re permanent. So whatever is troubling you right now, Take a deep breath! It’s just Duniya.

الله لا يغلق بابًا إلا ويفتح لك بابًا خيرًا منه Allah does not close a door except that He opens for you a better one لكنه يختبرك بمرارة الإغلاق but He tests you with the bitterness of closure حتى تشعر بحلاوة الفتح so that you may taste the sweetness of opening. (علي بن جابر الفيفي، لأنك الله)

Allah commands in Surah al Nur:

قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ

“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and to guard their private parts.” [Ayāh:30] In one of his writings, Ibn Rajab wrote: “Someone asked al Junayd about what can help someone to lower their gaze. He replied, Knowing that Allah is already looking at you before you looking at whatever you are looking at.” [جامع العلوم والحكم 1/410]

The ‘clean’ person does not find rest in what is haram. He may fall, he may weaken, but his heart remains reproaching him, feeling distressed, living in confusion and dispersal until he returns. Allah loves His good servants, so if He loves a servant, He alerts him. He may test him, He may narrow his worldly life upon him, not out of hatred but mercy, until he returns to the right path. And the most beautiful part is that no matter how far a person goes, the door of return is always open for the one who sincerely wants Allah.
