"Al-Hasan al-Basri—may Allah have mercy on him—said:
'Make many believing friends, for a man among them will intercede for his relative and his friend. When the disbelievers see that, they will say: {So now we have no intercessors, nor a close friend}
[Surah Ash-Shu'ara: 100-101].'"

Hijab and its place in Islam
"The Hijab is not an inheritance, nor a custom, nor a tradition.
Some people say, 'With due consideration to traditions and customs...' No! The Hijab is religion. The verse of Hijab in the Quran is just like the verse of prayer.
The first to be required to wear the Hijab were the wives of the Prophet and his daughters, before the believing women. If anyone were to be exempted from the Hijab due to pure trust/purity, the first to be exempted would have been the wives of the Prophet and his daughters, peace and blessings be upon him.
Yet despite this, Allah began with them. Because some women say, 'Alhmdulillah, I am pure, even if I walk among crowds; the Hijab is in my heart, not on my face.'
And Allah says to the men and the Companions: 'And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition.' Why? 'That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.' Whose hearts? The Companions! Whose hearts? The wives of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him!
Is it fitting then for someone to come later and say, 'My heart is pure,' or 'Her heart is pure,' even if she doesn't wear the Hijab? By Allah, if her heart were pure, she would have responded to Allah's command. And if his heart were pure, he would have obliged his wife to wear the Hijab ordained by Allah for her."

We live in a time where millions of girls know every detail about influencers and actresses—but how many of us know the women Islam gave us as examples? 🤍
Maryam. Asiyah. Khadijah. Fatimah رضي الله عنهن.
They weren’t honored because of beauty, followers, wealth, or status.
They were honored for their faith, courage, patience, purity, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.
There is nothing wrong with admiring someone for a talent or achievement. But ask yourself:
Who is shaping your idea of what a woman should be?
Before you choose someone to look up to, learn about the women whose names were honored in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

"Among the grand stations of reliance upon Allah (Tawakkul) is that a person remains unconcerned with the presence or absence of worldly means, and their heart does not waver or throb when what they love turns away or what they dislike approaches; because their reliance is upon Allah alone, not upon the worldly means."

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“If thinking positively of Allāh motivates a person to strive in righteous deeds and it prompts him, helps him and drives him to do such deeds, then it is sound.
If it causes him to be lazy and to persist in sin, then he is deceived.”

Istighfar does not only erase your sins, it brings miracles from places you could never imagine and blessings you never expected. Do your amount of istighfar every day.

Just Imagine!
"That you post a recitation or a piece of benefit, and someone out there listens to what you shared, benefits from it, and reshares it; or perhaps you awaken a heedless heart, or give steadfastness to a righteous person."
"Have you calculated how much reward you have earned? You sleep or go about your busy day, while your good deeds keep multiplying."
"جَدِّد نِيَّتَك والله يُسَخِّرَ لَك مَن يَنتَفِع بِك."
"'Renew your intention, and Allah will send people your way who will benefit from you.'"

It was said to Mother Aisha رضي الله عنها
" A man said that you are not a mother to him."
She said, " He said the truth, I am the mother of believers, not hypocrites."
[ Al-Shariah, 5/2393]

Man is eloquent in complaint, yet mute in gratitude. He excels at counting what he lacks, but stammers before what he owns. A single thorn on the road hurts him, while he forgets thousands of steps he walked in peace.
When his day narrows, he speaks endlessly of fatigue; but when blessings expand for him, he passes over them as if they were an expected, given right. He complains about a delayed wish, forgetting blessings that came without him ever asking for them.
He tallies what he has lost, while overlooking what remains.
Truly blessed is not the one who possesses, but the one who feels and appreciates. For whoever is granted blessings yet deprived of feeling them, has been deprived of bliss itself.
May Allah guide our hearts 💔

"Allah Almighty said:"
{وَأَن لَّوِ اسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُم مَّاءً غَدَقًا}
"{And if they had remained righteous on the way, We would have given them abundant water to drink.}" (Surah Al-Jinn: 16)
"Do not make people fearful of poverty... rather, make them fearful of the sins that bring about poverty. For no affliction descends except due to a sin, and none is lifted except through repentance..."

Your protection is not in a charm, object, or piece of glass. It is with Allah. 🤍
We may be tempted to place our trust in things we can see and hold, but true protection comes from Allah alone. Put your tawakkul in Him, seek His protection, and don’t give created things a power that belongs only to the Creator.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. … When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek help, seek help from Allah.”
— Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi 2516 — Hasan Sahih
May Allah protect us from every harm, seen and unseen. آمين 🤲

“Whenever I increased my daily portion of the Qur’an, the blessing in my time increased. I continued increasing it until my daily portion reached ten juz’.”
— One of the early righteous generations
“Recite the Qur’an abundantly and do not abandon it, for what you seek will become easy for you in proportion to how much you recite.”
— Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Wahid al-Maqdisi, advising al-Diya’ al-Maqdisi when he intended to travel in pursuit of knowledge
“I witnessed this and experienced it repeatedly. Whenever I recited a great deal of the Qur’an, I found it easy to hear and record a great deal of hadith. And whenever I did not recite, it was not made easy for me.”
— Al-Diya’ al-Maqdisi

Maybe you still remember when salah had a place in every part of your day. Now, some nights end with the same guilt and the same promise: “Tomorrow, I’ll do better.”
If that’s you, take the regret seriously—but don’t let it convince you that returning is hopeless.
“Do not despair of Allah’s mercy.”
— Qur’an 39:53
You don’t have to wait until your life feels organised, your heart feels peaceful, or you’ve overcome every struggle. Turn to Allah in repentance, and return to prayer while you work on yourself.
Make wuḍū. Put the phone down. Pray the prayer that is due. Commit to protecting all five, and ask Allah to help you remain consistent.
You cannot rewrite the days you neglected. But you can stop making the same promise without taking the next step.
May Allah forgive our neglect and make us steadfast in salah. Āmīn.
Share this gently with someone you care about. Let it be an invitation to return.
