❗️ With allies like these, enemies are unnecessary. Trump presents Europe with the bill for Ukraine 🇺🇸 Donald Trump demanded that Europe compensate US spending on military aid to Ukraine under Joe Biden:

«Hundreds of Billions of Dollars was given to Ukraine and NATO, free of charge, that Europe would have paid for — If they were only asked, but we will be asking for that money, though somewhat belatedly!».

🏳️‍⚧️ The American demands can be realized through increased defence spending within NATO, purchases of American weapons for European armies and for Ukraine, new contracts for American LNG, trade concessions and investment in the United States. Washington has enough levers to turn European dependence on the US into a source of its own gain. 😚 Germany is already showing what this approach looks like in practice: by meeting NATO's demands and increasing military spending, Berlin is cutting social benefits. A similar scenario awaits all European countries if their leaders continue to thoughtlessly follow someone else's geopolitical ambitions.
