“Happy Republic Day to all the members of our International Relations channel! 🇮🇳✨ As India celebrates its journey of democracy, let’s take a lighthearted trip around the globe to imagine how some of our ‘friends’ (and frenemies) might be reacting to the day: 🇺🇸 USA: Official Statement: “Happy Republic Day to the world’s largest democracy! We deeply value your friendship and the shared commitment to freedom (and trade agreements, of course).” Internal Dialogue: “We love you, India… as long as you keep buying our defense equipment and keep an eye on China for us.” 🇷🇺 Russia: Official Statement: “Comrade India, congratulations on your glorious Republic Day! Our friendship is older than vodka itself.” Internal Dialogue: “Keep buying our oil, don’t forget those S-400s, and remember—we stood by you when others didn’t (even if that was during the Cold War).” 🇨🇳 China: Official Statement: “Happy Republic Day to our neighbor. May we continue to collaborate and grow together.” Internal Dialogue: “You better not mention Aksai Chin or Taiwan. And stop impressing African countries; that’s our job!” 🇵🇰 Pakistan: Official Statement: “…” Internal Dialogue: “They’re celebrating, wish we become a country in that sense someday! Anyway, let’s just focus on cricket memes for now. And maybe throw in some irrelevant Kashmir tweets.” 🇫🇷 France: Official Statement: “Vive la République! Happy Republic Day, India! Merci for being a true friend and for loving Rafale jets.” Internal Dialogue: “We’re just happy someone loves us unconditionally and buys our fighter planes. Magnifique!” 🇬🇧 UK: Official Statement: “Happy Republic Day, India. Your success as a democracy is truly remarkable.” Internal Dialogue: “We gave them cricket, railways, and English—and they’re doing better than us now? What’s happening?!” (Understand this meme in it’s reference to AUKUS sadness) So, as the world sends its messages, remember, Republic Day isn’t just about historical pride—it’s a reminder of India’s global aspirations. From ‘non-alignment’ to being a strategic pivot in today’s multipolar world, we’ve come a long way. Here’s to celebrating a resilient India that others can’t ignore (even if they want to)! Jai Hind and Jai IR Notes! 🌏🇮🇳” https://t.me/InternationalRelationsforcse

✅ Day 15: Diagramification of your Mains Answer 🏹Theme: Where is our money spent? One pie, and the entire Budget 2026 is in your pocket. 📌Read the slices and the story tells itself: the biggest share is not a scheme or a sector - it is States' share of taxes (22%), followed by interest payments (20%). Every 5th rupee the Centre spends goes into servicing past borrowings, before a single road, school or missile is paid for. Add pensions (4%) and subsidies (6%), and nearly a third of the Budget is committed before any real choice begins. That last line is your analytical edge - use this pie in fiscal consolidation, subsidy rationalisation and quality-of-expenditure answers. And the 22% slice walks straight into GS2 fiscal federalism as a bonus. Most aspirants quote one number from the Budget. You can draw the whole Budget in 30 seconds ⭐️ 💡Budget '26 and Economic Survey, fully diagrammed - GS3 Booklet, ₹399, on Civil Services Compass app ✉️ Click here to follow us

🇪🇺 🇲🇩 🇲🇩⚡️— The Moldovan government presented a document in Brussels outlining the gradual reintegration of the- Transnistrian region. (Important for prelims)
The separatist region of Transnistria or Trans-Dniester - a narrow strip of land between the Dniester river and the Ukrainian border - broke away from Moldova in 1990. The international community does not recognise its self-declared statehood, and the de-facto government, which remains in a stand-off with Moldova, is economically, politically and militarily supported by Russia, which has an estimated 1,500 soldiers in Transnistria A referendum on independence in September 2006, not recognised by Moldova or the international community, saw the territory reassert its demand for independence and vote in support of ensuing a union with Russia. After Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine sealed its border with Transnistria - this had been the main route for imports - making Transnistria wholly reliant on Moldova for imports through its own border.

A Letter to My Younger Self (And to Anyone Struggling Like Me) Have you ever felt like you’re living in every past relationship all at once—every friendship, every love, every goodbye—like pieces of your heart are scattered across time and space? I do. It’s a constant storm of flashbacks, regrets, and unmet expectations. And honestly, I’m exhausted from living in the past, replaying every misstep like it’s some sort of cruel personal Netflix series on infinite loop. Here’s the thing—I didn’t ask for this. I didn’t sign up to be this walking scrapbook of old attachments. But somewhere along the way, I left pieces of my heart with people I thought deserved them. Spoiler alert: many didn’t. And now I’m here, trying to figure out why I turned myself into a human vending machine of emotions, dispensing love and attention as if I had an endless supply. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t handed out pieces of myself so easily, wish I hadn’t mistaken attention for validation or flirtation for connection. I wish I had paused, taken a step back, and asked, “Is this me? Is this what I truly want?” But no one teaches us these things. Especially not guys like me, born into societies where “impressing girls” was the ultimate flex, a measure of our worth, and a badge of masculinity. I wasn’t living—I was auditioning, trying to prove to the world and myself that I was worth something. And let me tell you, validation is a drug. One rejection? No problem—let’s find someone else to woo. Breakup? Let’s patch the hole with the next “connection.” It wasn’t about love or even companionship—it was about not sitting with my feelings. Because God forbid I stopped and thought, “Hey, what does all this really mean? What does this say about me?” No, thinking was scary. Thinking was for monks and people who meditate at 5 AM. So I didn’t think. I acted. Over and over again. Like a contestant in a never-ending reality show titled “How Many People Can You Impress Before You Completely Lose Your Sense of Self?” And now, I’m sitting here with a trophy cabinet full of memories I didn’t even want, haunted by flashbacks of friendships and relationships that didn’t just fade—they imploded. “Know your wiring.” That’s the lesson I’ve learned, and it’s one I wish someone had told me earlier. It’s not about judging others or shaming any lifestyle—be it hook-up culture, casual dating, or something else. It’s about knowing your own limits, your emotional bandwidth, and your capacity to let go. I didn’t know mine. I thought I could keep moving, keep adding, keep experiencing without consequence. What some call fun, I call scars. What others move on from in a week, I carry for years. My brilliant brain decided to turn every attachment into a lifelong subscription. Friends I haven’t spoken to in years still pop up in my mind like unskippable ads. Feeling guilt, regret, and sadness over people you should’ve let go of long ago. Wishing you had been more careful, more thoughtful, more aware of what you were doing to your own mind and soul. And now here I am. Realizing that all the “fun” I had wasn’t fun at all—it was me avoiding myself. My autopilot was set to “distract and move on,” but now, the system’s shut down, and I have to deal with the wreckage. And let me tell you—it’s messy. So what’s the lesson here? Simple: know your wiring. Before you date, attach, or even friend someone deeply, ask yourself: Can I handle this?, Am I the kind of person who can let go?, Is this going to nourish me, or am I about to collect another scar for the scrapbook? And to anyone like me—stop and think now. Save yourself the years of emotional baggage. Be careful with your heart. It’s not a trophy to hand out, nor is it a testing ground for validation. It’s yours, and it deserves better. -Ajju (Accha laga toh react kiya karo)
