Father’s Day elicits a variety of feelings. Some of us are awash with pleasant recollections. Some of us ache over loss, regret, or unhappy memories.
No matter how you reflect upon this time, I think we can all agree that upright, principled men are under attack like never before. In a society that distorts the real meaning of familial obligation and honor, where the outlandish is lauded, and the egocentric is exalted, we need to value the God-given role of men unequivocally.
Here’s to the men we love and respect: the strong, the dragon-slayers, the protectors, the providers, the determined and the patriotic. You come in all shapes and personalities, and we appreciate you for just being you. Thank you for your commitment to God, family and country. May you be deeply blessed for your faithfulness and dedication.

When we arrived at the barber shop, there were (3) people already in there and they didn’t wear masks. During our time inside, 7 more people arrived, one wore his mask the entire time.
Next stop was Office Depot. There was a sign on the front door stating, “In compliance with CDC guidelines, those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask.” [Meh. It’s just a guideline. We didn’t wear one.]
We hopped on over to Home Depot and there were no signs about masks or vaccines. We spotted one customer and a few employees wearing masks.
Then we had lunch at a Chinese buffet. No signs about masks or vaccines. All the employees wore masks, and I’d say about 10% of the customers wore masks.
Last stop was a chocolate shop (❤️) and no one wore a mask!

I had some one on one time with my oldest son Friday. We ran errands, had lunch, talked a lot. It was wonderful. I’d like to share observations while we were out and about.
Our first stop was getting his hair cut down at the old-fashioned barber shop on the Town Square in a nearby town. Here are pics from the shop 😊

I think this article is well worth your time to read. He gets to the point of Trump producing the covid vaccine about two-thirds of the way. I think most of us understand the why behind producing a vaccine. What we struggle with is Trump actively promoting it. This article doesn’t necessarily answer the cheerleading Trump did, however the writer offers some perspectives that might help you sort out your own thoughts 👇🏻

• Dong Jingwei defected in mid-February, flying from Hong Kong to the United States with his daughter. When Dong landed in California he contacted DIA officials and told them about his plans to defect and the information he’d brought with him. Dong then “hid in plain sight” for about two weeks before disappearing into DIA custody... Dong has provided DIA with the following information: Early pathogenic studies of the virus we now know as SARS-CoV-2; models of predicted COVID-19 spread and damage to the US and the world; financial records detailing which exact organizations and governments funded the research on SARS-CoV-2 and other biological warfare research; names of US citizens who provide intel to China; Names of Chinese spies working in the US or attending US universities; financial records showing US businessmen and public officials who’ve received money from the Chinese government; details of meetings US government officials had (perhaps unwittingly) with Chinese spies and members of Russia’s SVR; how the Chinese government gained access to a CIA communications system, leading to the death of dozens of Chinese people who were working with the CIA. Dong also has provided DIA with copies of the contents of the hard drive on Hunter Biden’s laptop, showing the information the Chinese government has about Hunter’s pornography problem and about his (and Joe’s) business dealings with Chinese entities. Some of the files on Dong has provided shine a light on just how it was that the sale of Henniges Automotive (and their stealth technology) to Chinese military manufacturer AVIC Auto was approved
