In recent weeks, Trump has pivoted from Save America rally events to the Freedom Tour, a more commercialized event with a formal slate of speakers touching on several aspects of American politics including freedom, conservatism, leadership, security, capitalism, and inspiration. According to Freedom Tour organizer Chris Widener, the event is meant to showcase the best of American life and provide inspiration for the movement Trump started in 2016. “It’s a great lineup,” said American Freedom Tour president Chris Widener. “It’s a variety of perspectives designed to give people hope and courage. And of course, a chance to hear the president. He’s the main reason everyone shows up to see.” Widener said the tour is built around four pillars: faith, family, finances, and freedom, which all of the speakers will highlight in their remarks. “We believe America was founded and has always been strengthened by faith,” Widener said. “It has been part of our country’s history. Family, is the smallest social construct, but it is the most power social group that we belong to. So the speakers will talk about the family and how we can strengthen families. Finances are something that everyone is interested, particularly now with 10 percent inflation and the price of gas and the cost of food going up. And of course, the foundation of it all is freedom. I love that we have emotions because God does. Imagine the depth of His feelings! I’d like to think He even feels giddy at times. Those moments when He knows we are about to experience something wonderful. My neighbor gifted our family the DVD, “The Riot and The Dance: Earth” by Dr Gordon Wilson. We enjoyed it immensely! I made a half-hearted attempt (it was in the wee hours so…) a few nights ago to find out if there are more but to no avail. I felt a little sad. This afternoon a package of curriculum was delivered. When I opened the box, right on top of the stack was the sequel to the DVD we love 😯 I didn’t order it, didn’t know the company I was ordering from even had it. But because I spent a certain amount, it was included for free. God must have been tee-hee-heeing. Makes me love Him even more! He loves you. Run to Him with open arms, without hesitation, without a strategy, without looking back. He will laugh right along side of you. He’s giddy for you, over you, about you.

I do plan to get back to the good news Friday drop, though it may be slimmed down and/or alternated with inspiring tidbits you choose to share. Other than focusing on what Philippians 4:8 tells us to do, I don’t know what else God has in mind so I continue to pray for clarity. Perhaps we can have live voice chats or some discussions for those of us who are night owls (we should probably type so as not to wake-up those Morning People™ who bear with us). I think your beautiful reflections need to hit the main page, too. I’m still learning the ropes over at Truth Social. It’s not as user-friendly as Telegram nor is it for those who like to um, write a lot. I haven’t figured out how to interact with y’all over there as I can do readily over here. Over the decades, I’ve become aware of so many unfathomables. It feels like I’ve read, listened, watched and done my own research on countless theories, doctrines and worldviews. It’s time to put that aside for a little bit so I can work on being Less Stingy™ and wholly embrace Less Is More. I need my focus to be on Jesus. In the coming weeks I will be sharing some of my research with Miss Freedom. I like that she fosters an environment that allows others to share their research, too. I have never seen her personally attack someone for a differing opinion on some pretty controversial topics (I happen to disagree with a concept currently being presented on multiple channels). Some of you have shared that you are also feeling the Holy Spirit directing you to change paths, change habits, change goals. Some of you want to step away from social media. I’ve been feeling some of those prompts as well. God has been calling me to live a “Less Is More,” life. In the midst of our crisis a few months back, the word “stingy” was brought to my mind. I realized that I did not want to be stingy with others -with time, with care, with thought, with compassion, with friendship. I do fall short in achieving this. More so, when I feel the stress of clutter, when I spend time online visiting sites and channels that are sorely lacking and when I am distracted from being with God. To this end, I am determined to make this channel a place of comfort, a safe place to land in the middle of the chaos, a place that reminds us of the beautiful things in life, a place that points to Jesus and how much He loves us. The storm is intensifying. We must seek shelter with the Most High, our Refuge, our Foundation, our Joy. Decluttering and eating cookies may help distract us from the storm trying to pelt us. However, trusting God is the only way to thrive during the battering. I’m not going anywhere; just shifting gears for a moment.

There’s so much to be grateful for, so much to live for, so much that can help us grow our faith. There is still so much beauty around us! God is a good, good Father. He is holy, just, merciful, gracious, truth, wonderful, beautiful, patient. We know love because He is love. We too must strive to be holy, just, merciful, gracious, truth, wonderful, beautiful, patient. We will struggle to be so without the Holy Spirit’s help because we absolutely cannot do anything God-worthy outside of Him. “Send me, God” if I can help others see Your love! He knows I’m fallible. Y’all know I’m fallible. You know my quirky sense of humor and unrequited love for cookies. Some of you hold beliefs I do not. Some of you follow others I do not. I will never mock you for those differences. I care about your faith walk*. I care about you needing to know how much God loves you. I care about you needing Jesus as much as I do. Each person who is kind enough to stop on by here and get comfy, I pray for –my family prays for. Y’all are simply amazing with your thoughtfulness. You bless me. *not to be confused with cake walk.

The passion to encourage moms arose from my experience with homeschooling. I never thought God would prompt me to expand helping others via social media like this. But, there I was in the wee hours one morning feeling frustrated after months on end of encountering channel after channel doggedly posting 845 news stories a day, forwarding 10 different angles of the same story in one hour, sharing lots of videos of our enemies saying asinine things and putting up images of abused children and adults doing obscene things –all without warning. It’s staggering how many channels use gratuitous crude language, memes and music then post a bible verse or talk about how much they love God. I also found it curious that the subscriber number never, ever comes close to the number of views the tracker shows. [This applies to me as well, so I assume the real count is the view count. I like the idea of a more intimate gathering as we can get to know one another better!] I felt the nudge from the Holy Spirit to just jump in with both feet. And like oh so many countless times in my life, I just did without thinking. It’s now been fifteen months. We’ve seen a lot happening in the world during this time. Some of it ugly, horrific, gross, and discouraging. I never want to bring that to this channel. This moment is hard. We’ve had our childhood paradigms shattered. We realized how much we’ve been lied to, manipulated and used –in every walk of life. We cannot escape the betrayal. Yet…
