Steady
God, I feel like I am drowning under the weight of my circumstances and anxiety and brokenness and doubt.
When darkness in circumstances like these make it hard to see where I’m going please keep me from sinking into desperation and depression.
I was never meant to rely on my unlimited resources to get out of tough situations. When I feel stuck, I cry out to you for help. I invite you into this specific places that overwhelm me that cause me anxiety, that cause me worry, that cause me doubt and that cause me confusion. I believe that You will lift me out of the muck and the mire and set my feet on solid ground. I know You can do it.
You are faithful to me no matter what kind of mess I find myself in. You rescue me, Your beloved child, over and over again.
Let me pray this over you:
It says, Father God this person needs your help right now. Show up in their life with your resurrection power. Bringing life out of what has felt like death to them. Fill their heart with hope as they watch Your faithfulness unfold before their very eyes.
Amen

Thank you for wanting an update on Felix. I will post one after carefully considering my words -which I’ll explain when I post an update.
In the meantime... Our weekend took an unexpected turn Sunday evening. Sometimes when things come across your path (literally) your little Grinch heart says, “Um, no,” then you get back to doing Grinchy things like planning how to make even more fun of AOC.
Other times, when something comes across your path (literally) your heart grows three sizes that day...

Felix and I forgot to watch the last couple of Trump rallies. We were busy hanging out, watching Lord of the Rings, eating ice cream. You know, priorities. We hope to catch it tonight.
I do try my best to look for clues, read between the lines. But honestly, I get easily distracted by what folks are doing in the background.
I'm not big a fan of posting a kabillion, "Trump said..." and "Did you catch that" posts. It hurts the OCD side of me. Too clutterly, in my humble opinion. I'd love to know what catches your attention. So feel free to share your thoughts here about tonight's rally in Washington Township, Michigan.

Hope y’all are enjoying your weekend.
I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. I need help. I can pay you in cookies, or if you’re really good, a most excellent meal at an awesome BBQ joint in Memphis. You need to be available at a moment’s notice. It’ll be one of those, “No time to explain, just hop in the car” scenarios. It’ll be epic. We can change the world. One intersection at a time. I drive so you do this 👇🏻
