Repost from ThinMint
Father God - Strange things are afoot. The air is foul, the food is tainted and the skies are polluted. Lovers of self slither towards more unholiness. The lies are piling high. Murder and mayhem crowd our streets.
We ask for supernatural protection, in the name of Jesus. Keep us safe from the thieves, the snitches, the prideful, the filth pushers and the body poisoners.
Protect us and our beloved in our comings and goings. Bring us home safely each time, and prepare our nights to be restful as we place our trust in You.
Help us to do things for Your glory. Give us the ear to hear Your callings, and the courage to be obedient to You. Let our spirits be so in tune with You that we immediately recognize the enemy’s trappings.
But, allow us mostly, to immediately act to help those in need. Ready us to share the Hope that lives in us!
Let us be Your hands and feet, moving about to demonstrate the love of Christ. Remind us we are to have a servant’s heart.
Give us understanding of the Resurrection Power that flows in us, and show us how to pray mightily in the name of Jesus! To call down demonic strongholds! To speak healing! To claim what is rightly ours as Your children!
Move, Lord, across the nations. Humble leaders and bring down the haughty. Let the world see You, clearly, undeniably, completely. Change minds and renew hearts. Bring reconciliation among friends and family. Purge the unclean from the churches.
We need You! Every hour. Every day.
We pray this in the precious name of Jesus.

I am powerless. I cannot make wise decisions, choose trustworthy friends, or cast my self-made crown at the feet of Jesus.
Without the Holy Spirit.
If it came through me and it’s wonderful, helpful, or thoughtful that is the LORD.
So what does it mean when a post, a topic, a word becomes controversial? I‘m not sure. I have guesses, but speculations move us away from seeking God’s answers and assumptions distract and derail.
I don’t know about you, but most of my assumptions are closely followed by regret. So I work on those unconsidered counter-reactions. This is one of the reasons I spontaneously started ThinMint: I simply wanted others to see things from a different perspective. To see the good, the beautiful, the funny, the happy.
I want my friends to know without any doubt, that God sees you. He loves you. His thoughts are of you. He does have plans for you. Breathtaking plans that reveal His glory!
This means the plans He has for each one of us will not look the same. However, the core of His design is the commonality for humanity: a relationship with Jesus Christ.
How we get to Jesus, how we connect with Jesus, how we touch the hem of Jesus, how we express our love for Jesus will differ. Yet the authenticity of our adulation is harmonious as it reaches Heaven.
God is not shy.
He can meet us in the lowliest and loneliest, in the messiest and meagerness, and in the fragileness. He is there for us in the bleakness and rawness.
He can meet us in a crowd of thousands or in the solitude.
He will draw us to Him through others, through music, through words, through art, through reading and hearing, through sharing, and eating.
He decides the how and when to minister and nourish. And it’s wondrous! 😊

I can’t help but wonder if sharing this perspective would have eliminated uncertainty.
Is it possible that we have become so jaded that we look for offense and lies where none exist? And if we are jaded... Then we must shelter under the wing of the Most High to retrieve our faith.

Hello sweet friends!
One of my admins reminded me that I may want to share the Truth Social account I have in the event something wonky happens with Telegram (and/or 10 Days of Darkness).
This is me and I posted this evening:

From @Dana:
We must walk in HIS truth. Not our truth or our understanding of His truth. HIS truth. He is Truth.
The cross represents Christ's crucifixion. It does not matter if the cross is upside down sideways or right side up. It is still HIS cross. Satan tries to twist it IF WE LET HIM. I won't bow to this. I will not let the enemy have the cross. It is our reminder that he already defeated satan.
Did you know most witchcraft occurs when we look at the cross? That is the work of the enemy. Hold on to the cross and remember it belongs to Jesus! Come eye to eye with HIM hanging the cross. There is power and healing there.
We are all open to discussion here. We have to be open to being wrong in what we discuss too. I have wasted a lot of my precious time and talents focusing on these types of things. I call it my pharisee era. God wants us unified in HIM, seeking HIM, encouraging each other in HIM. I encourage you to focus on the worship of our Father not the shape of the stage or the type of building. God shows up at brothels and prisons every day of the week. He is in the dirt and grime of all sin calling us out. He is not neatly packaged or at Holy venues. HE IS I AM.

That’s what He does.
He leaves the ninety-nine not to capture and rope, but to save and benefit. And He does it even though we’re the ones who drift away from Him because of our frivolity and little self-indulgences.
His voice is so compassionate, His mercy ready, His attention thorough and personal.
A unique thought struck while reading the first part of Psalm 5:3 one day. “My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning, O LORD.”
Because of our love for Him, for His goodness, for His faithfulness, He should be the first One to hear our voice in the morning. A simple, heartfelt, “Good morning!” Better yet a, “Thank You!” because He gifted the day to us and He’s in every moment of it.
It is a resolve and an immersion for the One Who loves you enough to send His Son to leave the ninety-nine.
The very thought of that sacrificial Love steadies the heart and settles the mind! Above all, Him. Less of me, more of Jesus.
Our voice given first to Him in the morning is an unflinching love we can cheerfully present Him.

Then you realize that scraps of leftovers are not what you give to the One you love. He understands the season you’re laboring through and He forgives the hurriedness of a conversation. But, putting Him last is not an acceptable solution –not even a temporary one.
It dawns that you need a tectonic shift in your thinking, in your heart.
So you make a plan to trim the excess from your life, to embrace the, “Less Is More” ideal, and to fully concentrate on What Matters Most. You purge and organize, you read and plan, and you read more and plan more, and clean up and out and in between.
But something piques and hovers, wafting in and out of your occupied mind, and it’s not until a moment of quietude that you feel the tug from the sweet and gentle Hand that captains your heart.
“Start with Me,” He says.
“I know I should, but You know, kids. And broken dishes. And doorbells…”
“Start. With. Me.” Not demanding, but a tender regard for my wellness.

And you wonder as you wander over to the fermentation in the family room, when will I get my quiet time?
You know deep in your heart that you desperately need the LORD to order your day yet… The crying child, the angry child, the hungry child, the unmoving child, the ringing phone, the dinging text, the hurried husband, the escaped pet, the washer that quit, the milk that spilled, the plate that shattered, the doorbell that just rang… All get the first of your attention. And when you’re a mom, sometimes all at once.
Those little snippets of respite that miraculously appear in the thick of your momming find you inert in your favorite chair too saturated with tiring thoughts to even muster a quick word of thanks or a brief prayer to the One that awes you.

Life comes at you fast, especially when you’re not a morning person or had a chance to utter your first word of the day. Or rather, exhale a weary groan.
You hit the floor running and don’t look back. Your kids won’t let you, hehe.
From the moment you bring home your bundle from the hospital, the demand for your attention does not waver.
There are hungry babies and full diapers, hyper toddlers and curious preschoolers. Then suddenly (!) one day the hibernating teen appears, emerging to demand food and to remind that you lost your grooviness somewhere before the turn of the last century.
The familiar morning cacophony of squabbling and misunderstandings, breakfast dishes clanking, and oh-my-stars-did-someone-just-open-the-front-door declares your new day just started.

When you have a house full of little ones, your mornings are not usually the reflection of tranquility. Awakenings can be jarring. As you quickly run the day’s plans through your mind before you abate the first squawking, running across the surface of your cerebrum is the provocative hope that you will tackle just one goal you long to accomplish.
You leave the safety and comfort of your bed to brave the snarl and shuffle. As you slip into your t-shirt, you sigh and succumb to your mind’s verdict that the day is probably going to be predictably unpredictable. And your t-shirt will gain another stain.
This scenario transpires with almost every sunrise, making the seasons and years blend into an indistinguishable ball of morning blah and routine that numbs the mind and drains the zing.
