It's all kinds of blah* out there, right? And it's gonna get more blah-y, right? I encourage my friends to step out of the crowd. Let the noisy, self-centered, vainglorious buffoons pass on by. The bible tells us that a wise person sees trouble coming and gets out of the way (Proverbs 27:12). Ain't nothing wrong with making your home all comfy cozy, loving on your family and helping your neighbor. And please, seek ways to have fun, to be silly, to laugh out loud. *Insert your favorite descriptive word.

Our friend Ben graciously shares devotionals with us over on the prayer group side. Here is a recent one: From EP: April 25… LORD God, You who created and planned the first and the last, You who chooses and have chosen, only You see and know what is to be on this day, in this lifetime. If we open The Book we can know all that You have for us to know and the hope that lies ahead for those who call on Your name, are Your own. ‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty, streams on dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants.’ LORD God of Truth, we clasp these promises tightly to our hearts and Trust. Thank You for the hope of our children, those children across this world who are even now being prepared for the fulfillment of Your promise. You have promised to restore the years the locusts have eaten. Equip us to do our part, to point them to hope. Equip us that we are able to equip them to make a better world. Prayer from Is. 44; Joel 2.

Folks, if you’re hurting or lost, don’t keep looking for answers in the same lies and illusions. My faith continues to grow daily as the evil in this world pulses and grows. Christ is not only our only hope for salvation, but he is peace and refuge for all of us who have been destroyed by a sinful world. Do something different today.

Love this from Danny @terminalcwo 👇🏻

Each year I ask the Lord to give me a theme, an idea, a word to use in my prayers. I do the same for specific events, occasions, people. As I was washing dishes today, I prayed for the situation in Maine (allowing access to abortion up until the moment of birth). I also prayed for God to send His angel army against the demons that were called forth at the recent satanic event in Boston. I stopped suddenly, asking the Holy Spirit to give me a word. He did. This is a word I will be praying for the rest of the year over everything and everyone. Testimony. That God gives people testimony of His intervention, His miracles, His goodness, His faithfulness, His peace, His devotion, His love. Want to join me?

Real conversation that took place Friday evening... Felix: Are you tired? Still want to watch a movie? Me: Oh yeah, totally! It's weird though. Felix: What's weird? Me: It feels like a Tuesday even though it's only Saturday. Felix: Me: 🙂 Felix: Me: What? Felix: It's Friday. Me: 😮 Me: Yay! I get an extra weekend day! 💃🏻 Felix: 🤦🏻‍♂️ May it feel like you got an extra weekend day, too 😃

Trump/Bannon interview from this evening. Scroll to the 20 minute mark: https://rumble.com/v2kzlj2-special-war-room-steve-bannon-trump-interview-at-mar-a-lago-4-28-23.html

President Trump : "When I get back into the Oval Office we will totally obliterate the deep state, we will. We will establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to declassify and publish all documents on Deep State spying, censorship and corruption. By the way, they spied on my campaign, they got caught. When I get back into the Oval Office, we will totally obliterate the deep state." @RealTimeNews

President Trump: "This is going to be a major announcement. Are you ready...is everyone? I will be retiring the name crooked from Hillary Clinton, and her moniker. And I'm gonna give her a new name. I don't know like maybe lovely Hillary or beautiful Hillary, but I'm going to retire the name crooked so that we can use the name for Joe Biden because he'll be known from now on his Crooked Joe Biden." @RealTimeNews

-5- How do we do this? How do we become more of who God wants us to be? How do we ignore the distractions of the enemy to focus on the Things That Matter Most? There are examples throughout the New Testament that speak of this. I like this one best for its simplicity and clarity: “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). This straightforward wisdom guides, sharpens, refines us. It is applicable. Is it that easy? Yes, I think it is. We pray, “Lord, show me the areas I must decrease in order for You to increase.” How do we get the strength to make these changes? How do we get the strength to face what the World throws at us? His joy. It is that simple? Yes, I think it is. It’s a heart issue. When we capture our thoughts, our perceptions (with His help) and bend it towards Him… When we align our hearts with His… When we remain with Him… When we wholly trust Him… Seeking Him, pleasing Him, loving Him… Be kind to others, forgive others, love others… It brings Him joy. He shares His joy with us. It inspires us, invigorates us –strengthens us. A continuous, everlasting connection to our Heavenly Father. His joy is our strength to do and be what He asks. Ava knew this. I will forever be grateful that she asked me to pray for the joy of the Lord to be her strength as her earthly journey concluded. This simple request has sent me on a new course with the Lord.
