📩🔹Question:
It’s widespread amongst us the practice of what’s called “birthdays for children”. They establish it approximately two days after the date of birth, and they say we aren’t celebrating it on the same day. Instead, we delay it so there’s no imitation of the disbelievers.
Is this valid?
📩🔸Answer:
Celebration of birthdays is from imitating the disbelievers. And the pretence of it being a day before or a day after doesn’t take away the underlying cause, which is for the birth.

📩🔹Question:
Our Shaykh, may Allah bless you.
During the latter part of a woman’s waiting period, she first experienced Jufaaf (dryness), then brownish discharge (Kudrah) and yellow discharge (Sufrah). At times (during her menses) she sees the Qassatul Baydhaa, but her usual habit is that she doesn’t always see the Qassatul Baydhaa.
Is what she saw of brownish and yellow discharge of her norm considered as part of the cycle or a part of purity?
📩🔸Answer:
If this is from her usual habit, then this Kudrah (brownish discharge) and Sufrah (Yellow discharge) is considered to be from her cycle, and Allah knows best. And if the Jufaaf (dryness) comes to her, she should wait to see if it continues. If so, she makes ghusul and prays. And if the Kudrah and Sufrah returns to her, she continues upon her menses until the appearance of the Qassatul Baydhaa.

📩🔹Question:
The cycle came to an 18 year old girl, it lasted 15 days without her seeing Qisatul Baydhaa, so she made ghusul and proceeded to pray. On the 17th day, she saw the Qisatul Baydhaa but she just relied upon the first Ghusul that occurred on the 15th day and she continued fasting.
Is the fast after the appearance of Qisatul Baydhaa invalid?
📩🔸Answer:
Her initial ghusul does not suffice her because she made it before she became pure. So, prayer and fasting is not valid from her. It’s upon her now to make ghusul after becoming pure through the appearance of the Qisatul Baydhaa.

🔶🔹’Ad-Durar Al-Bahiyyah’🔹🔶

▪️Explanation: By Shaykh Hassan bin Muhammed Ba Shu'ayb
-May Allah preserve him-
📚Chapter of Menstruation.
📝Is Kudrah and Sufrah from menstruation?:
Al-Kudrah is: Dirty water tainted with red (brownish).
As-Sufrah: Yellow water like the water which exudes from wounds (pus).
Regarding its ruling there are the following positions:
The first:
That it's not menstruation, at all.
This is the position of the Madhab of the Hanaabilah.
The second:
That it's considered menstruation, at all times.
This is the position of some of the Shaafi'iyyah and the Hanaabilah.
The third:
It's considered menstruation if it's during the days of menstruation.
This is the position of the Majority.
The fourth.
That As-Sufrah is menstruation and Al-Kudrah isn't menstruation except if it's preceded by blood.
And this is the position of Abu Yusuf.
The fifth:
That it's not considered menstruation except if it was connected to menstruation blood, but if it was seen after becoming pure and before the menstruation starts, then it's not considered menstruation.
And this is the position of Abu Thawr and Ibnl Mundhir.
This fifth position is the most correct, due to the Hadith of um Attiyah, may Allah be pleased with her, she said:
We did not consider Al-Kudrah and As-Sufrah anything.
Reported by Bukhari (326), and reported by Abu Daud (307) with the wording:
We did not consider Al-Kudrah and As-Sufrah anything after purity.
With the addition of (after purity).
And the Hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, which Imam Malik reported in Al-Muwatta (97):
From Alqamah bin Abu Alqamah, from his mother; the freed slave of Aisha; the Mother of the believers, that she said:
Women would go to Aisha the mother of the believers, with a small container with some cotton with As-Sufrah from menstruation blood, asking about the prayer.
She would say to them:
Don't be hasty wait until you see the Qassatul Baydaa.
She intended with this purity after the menstruation.
And this is the position chosen by Shaykh-Ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah as found in Al-Fataawa (21/220), and Shaykh Ibn Utheymeen in Al-Mumti' (1/434).

If this is from her usual habit at every month, then it’s part of the cycle.

O Shaykh, a woman asks regarding threads of brown discharge and white discharge after using contraceptive implants. She remains pure for a week, then there’s three days whereby these brown threads appear.
Is it permissible for her to pray - taking into account that she’s breastfeeding and currently doesn’t get the monthly cycle.
📩🔸Answer:
She’s not to leave off the prayer until she sees menstruation blood by its known characteristics.

It’s impermissible, due to the statement of Allah, the Most High:
(اتَّبِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۗ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ)
Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord (the Quran and Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ Sunnah), and follow not any Auliya'. Little do you remember!

I got married a few months ago, and my marriage life was steady. However, my husband’s mother opposes our marriage and she refuses to see me or speak to me, rather she even returns my gifts.
My husband has started to change, to the extent he started to say he regrets the marriage, and at times he says his jinn is telling him to hit me, despite him not mentioning anything to me about having “a jinn” prior to marriage. This matter is hurting me a lot and I don’t know what to do.
What do you advise?
May Allah reward you with good.
📩🔸Answer:
The advice is to be patient and enhance your dealings with him and dealings with his mother. And Allah the Most High says:
(ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ)
Repel (evil) with what is better, then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

My husband doesn’t agree with me, and he doesn’t see any issue with leaving him alone with them.
What is the correct thing to do?

If there is fear of harm in his religion or his body, then he shouldn’t be left with them.

That’s despite him sending a part of his salary to his family that aren’t in need and helping some of his other relatives, spending upon them from his savings.
Moreover, the state grants us financial support for our children to which I left my husband to manage. Is it permissible for me to keep this financial support and manage it for the benefit of our children and save the majority of it for the preparation of making Hijrah?

I hope for a detailed answer so that I may be able to clarify the stance of Ahlu-Sunnah and defend it.

This is not permissible, and it’s ugly for an Imām to accept money in exchange for supplicating for them.

I’ve been divorced through Islamic legislation for several years, but my ex-husband refuses to proceed with the necessary steps of establishing a civil divorce. That’s because according to French law i’m still considered to be his wife, hence why I’m unable to obtain a civil divorce at this present time whilst I wish to remarry.
My question: Is it permissible for me to remarry by way of only Islamic legislation (i.e a nikkah) without going to the council for the time being, until the civil divorce gets established?
I just want to know if the Islamic Nikkah in itself is permissible in this situation or if it’s not permissible?

Yes the Nikkah is permissible for you as long as the waiting period of the divorce has concluded.

Is it permissible for a person to get married, stay with his wife for a month or two, then to travel away for two or three years, and at times it can even reach five or seven years, and with some people it may even reach ten years or more?

📩🔹Question:
What is the ruling of travelling to the lands of the disbelievers for the sake of connecting ties of kinship of disbelieving parents. Baring in mind that connecting the ties is possible through phone calls and other means and they are well off in terms of money?
📩🔸Answer:
There's no problem for this purpose and Allaah knows best with the condition that they will be safe in terms of their religion.
