माना कि अभ्यर्थी को स्वयं भी जिम्मेदारी से सोचना चाहिए। लेकिन मार्केटिंग का जाल, भावनात्मक अपील और पूरे आत्मविश्वास के साथ किए गए दावे उसके निर्णय को धुंधला कर देते हैं। ऐसी असमंजस की स्थिति में वह एक मार्गदर्शक की बात मान लेना ही बेहतर समझता है। इसलिए जिन अभ्यर्थियों ने भरोसा किया, उनकी पूरी गलती नहीं थी। उन्होंने एक शिक्षक पर विश्वास किया था।
वे बार-बार कहते हैं— “देखो, तुम्हारे लिए हमने कितनी मेहनत की है।” लेकिन आप यह भूल जाते हैं कि कुछ स्लाइड्स बाद ही उसी वीडियो में नए कोर्स, नई टेस्ट सीरीज़ और अगले बैच का प्रचार आपका इंतज़ार कर रहा होता है। ज़रा सोचिए— यदि उद्देश्य केवल छात्रहित होता, तो ये मैराथन अंतिम सप्ताह में ही क्यों होतीं? क्योंकि तभी छात्रों की घबराहट सबसे अधिक होती है और उसी समय सबसे ज़्यादा ध्यान, व्यूज़ और बिक्री मिलती है। छात्रहित के मुखौटे के पीछे अक्सर प्रॉफिट का चेहरा छिपा होता है। यह उनका व्यवसाय है, और व्यवसाय करना गलत नहीं है। लेकिन वे आपकी सहानुभूति, कृतज्ञता या अंधविश्वास के पात्र भी नहीं हैं।
यह मुद्दा गलत भविष्यवाणी का नहीं, बल्कि जवाबदेही (Accountability) का है। जहाँ विश्वास बेचा जाता है, वहाँ जवाबदेही भी अनिवार्य होनी चाहिए। यदि कोई शिक्षक आपको यह विश्वास दिलाता है कि उसकी मैराथन, उसकी क्लास या उसकी सामग्री ही पर्याप्त है, और उसी भरोसे छात्र अपनी अंतिम रणनीति बदल देते हैं, तो परिणाम विपरीत आने पर उस शिक्षक की भी नैतिक जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वह सामने आकर अपनी रणनीति की समीक्षा करे। लेकिन अक्सर ऐसा नहीं होता। परीक्षा खत्म होते ही नया बैच, नई टेस्ट सीरीज़ और अगला राज्य शुरू हो जाता है।
सच यही है कि YouTube की मैराथन आपके एग्जाम का सबसे कीमती समय खा जाती है वह अंतिम सप्ताह, जो केवल Bare Acts और अपने नोट्स को देना चाहिए था। शायद वही समय आपकी सफलता और असफलता के बीच का अंतर बन सकता था। लेकिन व्यूज़ और अटेंशन के इस खेल में हार अंततः छात्र की ही होती है।
लीगल फील्ड में अवसर बार-बार नहीं आते। आपका हर प्रयास, हर सप्ताह और विशेषकर परीक्षा से पहले का अंतिम सप्ताह, अनमोल होता है।परीक्षा के बाद नया बैच शुरू हो जाता है, लेकिन खोया हुआ प्रयास वापस नहीं आता
