🔴Head of CBI Urges Accelerated Development of North Corridor 🔹During a visit to Russia’s Mir Business Bank, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdolnaser Hemmati, underscored the imperative of expediting the development of the country’s northern corridor, emphasizing a strategic shift toward enhancing maritime transportation and streamlining the supply of essential goods via Russian routes. 🔹He further affirmed that the government remains resolute in its commitment to broadening bilateral trade ties, adding that the banking network will rigorously support this trajectory. 🔹The Central Bank chief also called upon Russian financial institutions to scale up their cooperation in the issuance of letters of credit (LCs) for Iranian counterparts.
