A friend in Germany just received 64 MB56 LFP cells.... enough for 4 32kwh batteries.... 128kwh.
A little back story on this one... I met this couple when I was hitchhiking around Germany in 1993. We maintained contact thru the years and when I visited them in 2014, he showed me his SMA inverter and solar panels on two buildings. He's been running AGM batteries this whole time and finally took the plunge to LFP. If not for him, I probably wouldn't have ever learned about solar. | 739 |
| 5 | Ran up to Lumberton NC yesterday and picked up 6 pairs of trusses and a dozen 6x6x16' posts. Building a 30x50 covered shed for daughter's RV. We put some serious thought into if a 40x40 or 30x50 would lend itself well to a house floorplan some day. Who knows... this might be a shady shed, it might get fenced in with cattle panels and hold goats at night.... or a workshop or a "small-ish house" one day.
There's a little surface rust on some of the welds and the paint they used seems to stay tacky... so we're painting with some oil based paint before we put them up. | 714 |

| 11 | Cyberattack on Fairlife shuts down US Milk Production
One of America’s leading milk brands (found in 1 in 4 households) has halted ALL US production after a ransomware cyberattack.
Fairlife, owned by Coca-Cola, has taken their systems offline while dealing with the attack. Milk is perishable, and shortages could hit fast if this drags on. (they are still completely offline after 3 days!)
I'd warned that the US food supply was critically vulnerable to cyberattacks, and this would appear to be a prime example of exactly that...

| 12 | Remote Water Shutoffs: How They'll Kill Victory Gardens [NEW VIDEO]
Smart water meters with remote shut-off valves are rolling out now.
They can automatically shut off your water after just 50 liters (13 gallons) per day ... or any arbitrary amount they decide.
In Colorado, smart meters are already detecting and fining people for watering on the “wrong day." Munich is hitting gardeners with €50,000 fines. Ireland and France have "garden hose bans."
This is the UN’s “Global Water Bankruptcy” in action: enforced limits coming straight for victory gardens as the technocracy seizes control over food, water, and energy in their staged “Poly-Crisis.”

| 18 | I was just reading up on meshtastic so i can speak intelligently at the ham club meeting tomorrow evening. The fundamental difference between MT and MC is that MT makes everyone a repeater. They realized this was far too chatty, so they introduced limited flood routing. So if you send a message, my node will repeat it. But if I have heard that same packet already repeated by someone else I will not repeat it. The fly in the ointment here is that what if a node in someone's pocket hears and repeats the message and the nearest strong station with a good antenna decides it doesn't need to replay that message?
Then they came up with another trick which is to have two special repeaters that hear packets on your local network and then quickly switch to a much slower datarate which can travel further. When the data arrives at the other end, another special repeater retransmits the message at the normal datarate locally to that end. BUT WAIT.... meshtastic isn't supposed to have infrastructure!!!!
They seem to be shooting from the hip here. They are trying creative things that over complicate things.
Meshcore on the other hand uses a faster datarate in which packets can travel 9 hops in 5 seconds. I'm routinely going to middle of south carolina to middle of Tennessee in 12 hops in about 7 seconds. Meshtastic is still experiencing a log jam of local redundant packets at 7 seconds.
