Why are people worried about some mostly peaceful protests in Northern Ireland? Who cares? It's the summer of love

Something I find interesting about this Belfast situation is that Northern Ireland is in a weird position politically where it's technically part of the UK but is governed autonomously, which definitely makes clamping down on the demonstrators not as straight forward as it would be in the UK itself

I think a common misconception these days is that people think desire in itself is a bad thing. The truth is, it's not. Desiring things is not itself bad. It becomes bad though when the desire is for something dysteleological or self-destructive. For example, since we're in PriDEMONth, the desire homosexuals have to stick their dick in another man's anus is both dysteleological and self-destructive. Nothing good can ever come from that. Desire isn't bad, some are good and some are bad. Cast out the bad ones and you should be good to go.

It's funny seeing the Mormons coping and seething about not being listed among Christian denominations by that document the government put out recently, I'm not surprised Mormons weren't listed under Christian denominations but I'm surprised that JW's were.

Now even just a few days ago we learned that the Iranian navy (which ZOGnald promised us multiple times was destroyed and sitting at the bottom of the ocean) shot down a US helicopter. No air superiority, not even naval superiority at this point, invasion is totally out of the question entirely, and not long ago we also learned that despite everything the US has thrown at them still 90% of their ballistic missile launch sites were still operational. Our military bases in the region have all been blown to bits, the gulf nations are all totally screwed right now, and all of this has accomplished what? A blown up school full of school kids, some infrastructure destroyed, and some towelheads blown up?

Yep, Israel dragged us into this war and now there's no clear way forward. I don't know if ZOGnald thought it would be quick at the start but any one of us could have predicted this would be a long drawn out nightmare
