BEE is designed to favour large monopolies in the economy.
The policies are structured to be time consuming and costly to implement and maintain by design.
Start-ups rarely have the technical knowledge, time, scope and funds to implement and maintain them.
Are black businesses worse off for funding than before BEE?

🏭🇿🇦🇨🇳 South African Factories Crater as China Imports Stunt Revival
South Africa’s manufacturing sector has been in decline for more than three decades. Now, a deluge of cheap Chinese goods, intensified by US President Donald Trump’s tariff war, is putting what remains of its industrial base under renewed pressure.
Chinese exports to South Africa have more than doubled since the start of the decade, rising by almost $10 billion in the first eight months of this year compared with the same period six years ago.
South Africa also runs a large trade deficit with China, which accounts for more than a third of the country’s manufacturing imports and only about 5.9% of exports.
Moody’s Ratings latest Manufacturing Vulnerability Index ranks Africa’s largest economy the most exposed to Chinese trade competition of the eight nations it assessed on the continent.
It attributed this to South Africa’s “relatively large manufacturing sector with a high reliance on foreign, and specifically Chinese, value added in exports” and moderate and declining competitiveness.

Anti-illegal immigration protesters vow to make Durban ungovernable

The High Court issued an order banning the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality from terminating electricity supply to any schools in Gauteng. “The resulting court order determined that the municipality may no longer terminate the power supply to any schools due to the provincial government’s failure to pay property rates,” AfriForum said.
at the time, Tshwane cut off schools’ power supply due to non-payment of property rates, even though schools aren’t responsible for paying these rates. “The schools were also able to prove that their utility bills were up to date at the time their power was cut,” it said. It added that, despite the court order, Tshwane cut power to schools again shortly afterwards and only restored power after it was put under pressure.https://mybroadband.co.za/news/energy/671587-mayor-of-south-africas-capital-city-threatened-with-jail-time-after-cutting-power-to-schools.html
''...could not have been forseen...''
Hilariously arrogant and out of touch.
South Africans have repeatedly shown that they do not want these migrants in the country. The very existence of March and March shows that a large section of the population is fed up with migrants causing trouble and have moved to try and force these people to leave the country.
[HOME AFFAIRS DIRECTOR-GENERAL WITHDRAWS ASYLUM DIRECTIVE]
The department of Home Affairs has withdrawn its directive regarding the intake of asylum seeker applications.
It says the directive was initially given to support the implementation of the Constitutional Court ruling.
"However the attempt to practically implement the judgment immediately led to immediate consequences that could not have been foreseen in the court order"
"The department will now embark on a fresh process the most appropriate operational approach to ensure compliance with the Constitutional Court order"
