Lesson 2: Core Node.js Today, I continued my Node.js learning journey and explored important concepts used in backend development. What I learned: 1. Global objects and the process object 2. Working with files using the fs module 3. Reading, writing, appending, and deleting files 4. Managing file paths and directories using the path module 5. Understanding events and the EventEmitter class 6. Understanding synchronous and asynchronous programming 7. Working with callbacks and error-first callbacks 8. Understanding Promises and error handling 9. Using async and await for asynchronous operations 10. Combining Node.js modules to build a simple student file system Practical experience: Built a small student file system that reads student information from a file, handles events, manages file paths, and uses asynchronous programming. I am committed to learning step by step, practicing consistently, and developing the skills needed to become a full-stack developer. #NodeJS#journey @From_Code_to_Creation

Another exciting open-source discovery! 🔥 Meet Voicebox, an open-source alternative to ElevenLabs. 🔗 Source code: https://github.com/jamiepine/voicebox Lately, I’m seeing more local AI projects popping up in Ethiopia, and honestly, it’s exciting to see them doing good! 🔥 Projects like Dataset.et, Addis AI, Hasab AI, Lucy AI, and many others are showing that we can build AI solutions that understand our people, languages, and local needs. @wadehlife

I found two open-source alternatives to CapCut ( Video Editor ) that work across all operating systems, including Linux, and can be customized to your needs. 👀 Here’s the source code.
