This guy is such an underrated animator! I stumbled upon his work at one of the D5 Game Jams, and I couldn't believe my eyes. He's just a teenager, but his talent is off the charts! It's like heβs channeling the spirits of legendary animators while still figuring out how to do his own laundry. Seriously, heβs proving that age doesnβt matter when it comes to creativity. If he keeps this up, we might see him in the credits of major animated films before he even gets his driver's license! Can't wait to see what he comes up with next maybe a short film about a heroic sock that saves the day in the laundry room? The possibilities are endless!π

Card Round is officially here.
Built this one differently. Instead of my usual engine flow, I decided to experiment with Phaser.js for the frontend and real-time communication using WebSockets. Safe to say, I learned a lot.
This project pushed me into:
Understanding how Phaser handles scenes, rendering, and game loops in the browser
Managing real-time state sync using WebSockets
Handling multiplayer round results and UI updates without breaking flow
Thinking more about UI/UX clarity in competitive card games
Optimizing asset loading and splash transitions
One big lesson: real-time multiplayer is not just about sending messages. Itβs about synchronization, prediction, state authority, and clean separation between client and server logic.
Also, UI polish matters more than you think. A small glow, a subtle animation, proper sound timing everything adds weight to the experience.

Melkam Studios keeps moving.
More updates coming.

Now the UI is updated and the Music and SFX are in place and the game is looking alive, The lesson is without sound the game feels boring and lifeless and you can get free sounds online on Pixabay, "But don't forget to check their license and credit their work" untill we meet again π

Btw if you saw this logo on the games splash screen posted recently on my channel and curios, Melkam Studios is my own indie game studio, which I will be using for the games I publish from now on. and it is been a week since I started and it is being a success since I got 2 games done for publishing and waiting for comments and approval.

When browsing the internet i came across kenny assest and loved the asset named Shooting Gallery, and I decided to give it a try and build the game out if it and the outcome was unexpected even for me, and the lesson from this game building was
1, There are 2 types of positioning in godot 2D one manual handling every position and the Nodes doesn't know the screen size and will not respect it or the other way The nodes respect the screen size and size themselves on any screen sizes so i used just that Control nodes, anyways that's the easiest way to make your games or UI responsive in any screen size, Until we meet againπ

Hello fams, i was working "experimenting" on isometric games using Godot and it's going very well and here's what i learned:
In isometric games there's a method called y-sorting and it's necessary for the game engine to recognize and sort the tiles based on their height levels,
If you have many png files of the individual tiles, first doing merging the same tiles with their groups is better for the game engines fast and effective memory allocation.
