Gheero(formerly iCog) is opening applications for its Applied AI & Machine Learning Residency Program, an 8-week program for people who want to build real AI systems, not just study the concepts. Residents will work on practical AI and machine learning projects, learn how models are designed, trained, evaluated, and integrated into real products, and get mentorship from experienced builders. The program focuses on applied AI, engineering discipline, problem-solving, and technical growth. Strong participants may also be considered for internship or full-time roles after the residency. To apply, send your CV and relevant documents to recruitment@gheero.et with the subject line: Applied AI & Machine Learning Residency Program. src: https://t.me/CursorCommunityEth Read more here

There is no need for motivation if you are the older child in your family. When it comes to being an older daughter, that is another story. Failure is not an option here, since the sustainability of the family depends on you. #random @byte_philosopher

Working with MLflow for the first time, I ended up testing my patience. But it is such a nice tool :)) #tools @byte_philosopher

The academic pressure right now isn't scary, what's scary is the way I am ignoring it.😭 #random @byte_philosopher

Challenge accepted!! @byte_philosopher

Back in high school, when I was in grade 10 (2022), I learned Python for the first time. This was the very first project I made by writing the whole code by hand(no ai at that time). It was about 1,000 lines long. Today, I found it while searching for files. Damn, I was Gobez ewnetπŸ˜…. I coded it on my tablet since I couldn't easily install PyCharm on my PC at the time (there wasn't VS Code available then, I guess). It just reminded me of my courage. When I finished, I DM'd a cool graphics designer on Instagram and asked how I could get good at it. He told me to keep going with coding. He even recommended some videos, but I just ignored them and pursued coding. Oh god, all those things happened before 4 years ago. How time flies! #journey @byte_philosopher

Introducing ICare I built ICare because I spend most of my day staring at a screen and kept forgetting to take breaks until my eyes started hurting. ICare reminds you to follow the 20-20-20 rule by nudging you every 20 minutes to look away from your screen for 20 seconds. If you're really stubborn, Smart Eye Mode can block your screen for 20 seconds and force the break To make things more fun, I added:       - Analytics to track your habits       - Streaks and badges to keep you motivated       - Different popup personalities       - A Savage Mode that might roast you for ignoring your eye health I wanted ICare to be simple, useful, and a little entertaining. I've been using it myself, and it's already helping me build healthier screen habits. I hope it helps you too. GitHub repo: https://github.com/Lozaashenafi/Icare If you try it out, I'd love to hear your feedback.
