“የሳኦልም ልጅ ሜልኮል ዳዊትን ወደደች፤ ይህም ወሬ ለሳኦል ደረሰለት፥ ነገሩም ደስ አሰኘው።” — 1ኛ ሳሙኤል 18፥20 The Bible really said “Michal loved David" a woman having a crush on a man was so rare in the biblical records that the Holy Spirit made sure to write it down. But the funniest part? her father king Saul heard the news and was happy. Every brother who has a sister& every father who has a daughter reading this is probably confused: “Wait… a father is happy that his daughter likes someone?”🤔 I know it sounds very weird, but it is true that we brothers often(not always) don’t want our sisters dating anyone. I don’t know why… don’t ask me🙂 But then comes the plot twist: Saul was not happy because David was a good man. The next verse reveals the real reason: he was happy because he thought, “perfect! my daughter can become the reason David dies"💀 Lesson from the story: If a girl has a crush on you and her brothers and father are happy about it, bro, run for your life😁 The above conclusion is one example of bad exegesis of Scripture. Btw, there are people who interpret the Bible like this. We are inviting some special guests in the coming weeks to teach us how to interpret Scripture, the principles we should follow in hermeneutics, and something that many churches almost do not teach today @biblicalthinker1

በእኔ የሚያምን መጽሐፍ እንዳለ፥ የሕይወት ውኃ ወንዝ ከሆዱ ይፈልቃል ብሎ ጮኸ። ይህን ግን በእርሱ የሚያምኑ ሊቀበሉት ስላላቸው ስለ መንፈስ ተናገረ፤ ኢየሱስ ገና ስላልከበረ መንፈስ ገና አልወረደም ነበርና። ዮሐ (7:38-39) “በአደባባይዋም መካከል ከእግዚአብሔርና ከበጉ ዙፋን የሚወጣውን እንደ ብርሌ የሚያንጸባርቀውን የሕይወትን ውኃ ወንዝ አሳየኝ።” ( ራእይ 22፥1) @biblicalthinker1

ዛሬ ምሽት(2:30) የጀመርነውን Pneumatology Class የመጨረሻ ክፍል እንማማራለን። ባለፈው የአብንና የወልድን Eternal relations of origins አይተናል። ዛሬ የመንፈስ ቅዱስን relation of origin to the Father and the Son እናያለን። * መንፈስ ቅዱስ የሚሠርጸው(የሚወጣው) በምዕራቧ ቤተክርስቲያን(በካቶሊኮች እና በብዙ ፕሮቴስታንቶች) እንደሚታመነው Hypostetically ከአብ እና ከወልድ ነው ወይስ በምስራቋ ቤተክርስቲያን እና በሌሎች ኦርቶዶክሳዊያን እንደሚታመነው ከአብ ብቻ? (እና ከወልድ Hypostetically ሳይሆን Economically) * መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ምን ይላል? Should we affirm the Filioque("..And the Son")? *ሁለቱም የላቲን እና የግሪክ አባቶች(Augustine, Cyril, Basil the great, Gregory Of Nyssa, Athanasius ) ምን አስተማሩ? Hypostetetical(Personal)processionን ወይስ Just Economic procession? ይኼ ከነበሩት ቤተክርስቲያንን በ 1054 ዓ.ም ለሁለት ከከፈሉት ጉዳዮች አንዱ ነበር። ሁለቱም አብያተክርስቲያናት ተወጋግዘዋል(ካቶሊኮች በ Florence ጉባኤ Filioqueን ዶግማ አድርገዋል። የምስራቅ ኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን ደግሞ በበኩሏ ይሄንን ትምህርት Soul damning የሆነ አደገኛ ምንፍቅና ነው ብለው ያምናሉ። ውግዘቱ እኛንም የሚመለከት ነው ምክንያቱም ሁሉም የፕሮቴስታንት ሪፎርመሮች የ Filioqueን Clause affirm ስላደረጉ።) በዚህ ጉዳይ ዙሪያ የራሳችሁን Research ሰርታችሁ ኑ። እንወያይበታለን። ኦርቶዶክሳዊያን ቢኖሩ ደግሞ የእነርሱንም Perspective ከራሳቸው ለመስማት More በጣም አሪፍ ይሆናል።

👀 ይሄ በሆነ ወቅት Conservative የነበሩትን የ Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian ወዘተ Mainline ፕሮቴስታንቶችን ሽባ ላደረገው ለ Liberalism Virus በር መክፈት ነው። ግን መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ እና የቤተክርስቲያን ታሪክ ግልጽ አይደለም?

ስለ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በግሌ ማጥናት እና ማንበብ ከጀመርኩኝ ቆይቷል። ብዙ ጊዜ Christology ላይ ወይም Theology proper ላይ ትኩረት ስለምናደርግ የእነርሱን ያህል ስለመንፈስ ቅዱስ አናጠናም። ይሄ ግን በፍጹም መሆን ያልነበረበት እና የሌለበት ነው። እኛ ትላንት በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ጌትነት እና አካልነት(Person) ላይ ተከታታይ Class ጀምረናል። እግዚአብሔር ድንቅ ጊዜ ሰጥቶናል። ነገ ደግሞ በተመሳሳይ ሰዓት እንደ ጌታ ፈቃድ ክፍል ሁለትን እንቀጥላለን። ነገ ስለ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በ Godhead ውስጥ ስላለው Relation of Origin(including Filioque 👀) ለማየት እንሞክራለን። እንደ Thomas Aquinas ከሆነ በ Trinity persons መካከል አራት አይነት Relations ስላለ እነዚያን ጨምሮ እና የመንፈስ ቅዱስን Relation of origin አንስተን ሌላውን መተው ስለማንችል ስለ ሦስቱም አካላት personal property እና Unique personal properties የምናይ ይሆናል። እስከዛው የ Thomas Aquinasን Summa Theologica Part 1ን ከ 27-43(Treatise on the most Holy Trinity) የተነሱትን ጥያቄዎች(objections) እና ለእነርሱ የተሰጡትን ማብራርያዎች እያነበባችሁ ቆዩ።

When the chief priests and the Pharisees attributed the work of the Holy Spirit to demons, the Lord responded by warning that "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin" Today, we often see the opposite: some people attribute works that are clearly demonic such as selling "anointed" oil, breaking up marriages, sowing hatred among neighbors& friendsand promoting the prosperity gospel or Word of F faith teachings to the Holy Spirit. These things are done in His name and attributed to Him. In either case attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to demons or attributing demonic works to the Holy Spirit is a serious form of blasphemy against the Spirit of God. @biblicalthinker1
