Not quite right,  prohibition was orchestrated by Rockefeller and standard oil. Cars back then ran purely on alcohol and this could be produced at home at almost no cost. After prohibition all car engines were petrol, they could then be charged for the use off.. The fact that they poisoned and so murdered people was used to create fear ..
