Advice for Those Struggling with Private Sins and Repeated Repentance: A Must-Watch for Anyone Struggling with Secret Sins Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله O Sunni, Salafi, Muhammadi, do not let the deviants, their followers, and the pretenders to knowledge provoke you to say what fulfills their aim. They are well aware that any statement you make, in any manner, will not benefit the common people in any way, for the matter is clearer than the sun. Every statement you make serves no purpose except to achieve their corrupt aim of inciting rebellion against the rulers. So turn away from them and adhere to the methodology of the Rabbani scholars who have understood this crisis and how to handle it, foremost among them being the two towering and eminent mountains, the scholar ‘Abdul-Aziz Aal al-Sheikh and the scholar Salih al-Fawzan. Leave those people to shout and bicker, for by Allah, they will not be pleased with you unless you fulfill their aim, and they will not be satisfied with you until you drown in the sea of their deviation. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Belittling and Attacking the Scholars of the Sunnah: A Major Cause of Deviation Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله And among the causes of deviation is the belittling of the scholars, and indeed it is something that makes one weep. This, O brothers, is a deviation in itself and also a cause of deviation. Among the deviations and their causes is that the youth belittle the scholars of the Sunnah; that the youth belittle the Rabbani scholars who adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah, who have spent their lives learning the legislative knowledge from its legislative foundations, who have spent their lives in obedience to Allah, glorified and exalted is He. Those who have been testified to by the people of the earth for their obedience and uprightness, and the banners of knowledge and issuing fatwas were established for them. That the youth belittle those scholars and attack them, making them prey for the devils among mankind and jinn, leading them to ruin in terms of doubts and desires. Indeed, you feel sorrow, O servant of Allah, when you see a young person being negligent in obedience to Allah, abandoning obligations, committing prohibitions, and attacking the scholars of the ummah, saying: "We do not want these scholars; they have such and such, or they have such and such. We want those scholars whose speech we do not hear saying: 'This is haram' or 'That is obligatory,' but rather we only hear from them sermons that do not burden us with anything nor oblige us to anything." As for those great scholars whom they call the major scholars, they say: "We have no need for them; they have such and such." And indeed, you are astonished, deeply astonished, and you feel immense sadness when you see a young person upon whom signs of goodness have appeared, the Sunnah is apparent on him, and goodness is evident in his outward actions, yet you see him in gatherings belittling the scholars, attacking the Rabbani scholars, lowering their status, and belittling their importance. And indeed, O brothers, this is a grave deviation and a cause of dangerous deviations. The treatment for this is that the youth should be raised to respect the Rabbani scholars, to take their fatwas, to fulfill their rights, to honour them, to defend their honour, and that preachers and speakers in lectures and elsewhere should avoid anything that distances the youth from the Rabbani scholars of the Ummah, whether with good or bad intent. Sheikh al-Fawzan—may Allah preserve him—said: "It is obligatory to respect the scholars of the Muslims, for they are the inheritors of the prophets. Belittling them is considered a belittling of their status and their inheritance of the Prophet ﷺ and the knowledge they carry. The scholars must be respected for their knowledge, their status in the Ummah, and their responsibility that they undertake for the benefit of Islam and the Muslims." The sheikh—may Allah preserve him—said: "If the scholars are not trusted, then who will be trusted? If trust in the scholars is lost, to whom will the Muslims turn to solve their problems and clarify the legislative rulings? At that point, the Ummah will be lost, and chaos will prevail." And the sheikh has spoken truthfully—may Allah grant him success. And here we are witnessing some of that. We see that many of us have abandoned the fatwas of the reliable scholars and have started chasing after the opinions of people who have nothing of knowledge but crumbs. So we ask Allah to guide us with our correct path and to help us fulfill our duty in returning our people to the good trees of the scholars whose roots are firm and whose branches are in the sky. Why Does Allah Test Those Whom He Loves?: Three Reasons Why Allah Tests His Believing Slaves Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله By Allah, we love calling to Allah. Indeed, whenever I hear of someone in any country calling to Allah upon the Sunnah and with clear insight, even if I do not know him. I love him for the sake of Allah, hold him in high regard, and supplicate for him abundantly. [إرشاد المريد ٦٨/١] https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

The Sign of Loving Allah: Following the Messenger ﷺ Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله Among the ways to attain knowledge and firmly establish it is to act upon that knowledge. Acting upon knowledge is one of the most important means of solidifying it. ʿAli ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Knowledge calls out to action; if action responds, knowledge remains, but if not, it departs.” Knowledge is like a fleeting prey, while action is its binding rope. Whoever acts upon their knowledge secures it and makes it firmly established within themselves. The Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, understood this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They would not move on from learning ten verses of the Qur’an until they understood their meanings and acted upon them. They said: “We learned knowledge and action together.” Following this approach, the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, continued after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by teaching their students both knowledge and the importance of acting upon it. Without a doubt, dear brothers, anyone who implements this knows from experience that when knowledge is coupled with action, it remains firmly established in the heart. Question: A questioner asks: What is the ruling on a woman adorning her face when going to the mosque, knowing that she is fully veiled on the way? Answer: If the woman fully covers her face and does not reveal it, then it is permissible for her to beautify her face. However, it is prohibited for her to apply perfume that is noticeable by smell, as long as her face is only seen by women. Thus, she may beautify her face in a manner customary among women. But if she unveils her face, believing that unveiling is not prohibited, and applies a niqab, then it is impermissible for her to enhance what is visible. Some sisters apply niqab, but they also wear kohl, and use colors. Sometimes, they apply colors between the eyebrows and eyes. Or they increase the intensity of kohl around their eyes. Or they use makeup in the visible areas. This is not permissible. It is impermissible. We have also emphasized that niqab is permissible if only the eyes are visible. Nowadays, some of our sisters – speaking of those who fear Allah and want to cover their faces – some may argue, saying, “O Shaykh, women… I am not discussing that.” I am discussing a woman who desires to adhere to Allah’s law. Then she wears the niqab. But how does she wear the niqab? She uncovers her nose, her eyes, and what is around her eyes, claiming this niqab is permissible. This is not permissible. The permissible niqab is the one that only reveals the eyes. But raising it higher, lowering it, or making it wider – this is not permissible. Some sisters beautify their eyes and then wear the niqab. With their niqab, they are more attractive than if they had unveiled. This is not permissible. This is not permissible. This does not achieve the intended purpose of face covering. Muslim women must fear Allah. They should know that they will stand before Allah and will be questioned by Him, Glorified be He. They must fear Allah regarding face covering. Either they cover their entire face or wear a niqab that reveals only the eyes. This should suffice. #Fatawa_Pertaining_to_Women https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله By Allah, you do not know; perhaps a clip you share becomes the reason for you to be saved from the Fire and to enter Paradise without punishment. You might share a clip, and then someone else shares it, and Allah might cause people to single Him out in worship through it, and this will come in your scale of good deeds. Make Your Family Love Steadfastness: A Message to the Youth! Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله

Question: What is the ruling on planting trees upon the grave? Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله: This is an innovation (bid’ah), and they (people) do this with the intention of easing the suffering of the deceased person in his grave. And this is bad assumption about the deceased person, and just like that this could lead to evil, and if these trees bear fruit, then some people might seek blessings through it, and venerate it because they are upon graves. Therefore this act is not permissible. #Fatawa_on_Aqeedah_Tawheed
