A Powerful Supplication for Saudi Arabia, Its Security, and Its Defenders — “O Allah, Preserve Saudi Arabia for the Muslims!” Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: The Houthis imagine that they will harm the people of Madīnah, but they will see the outcome of what they intend, by the permission of the All-Strong, the All-Mighty. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever intends evil against the people of Madīnah, Allah will dissolve him just as salt dissolves in water.” They are more insignificant than what they imagine themselves to be, but Allah has willed to expose them before the truthful Muslims. They are nothing but a mosquito imagining that it can break a palm tree, and a gang launching an attack against a state. And our Saudi state has rulers who possess firmness, strength, forbearance, deliberation, and the ability to weigh matters properly. It has men with the hearts of lions, stationed along its frontiers. It has a people and residents who are closely united, who know its virtue, enjoy its security, and are certain that the Houthis, through their desperate attempts to attack this lofty state, are writing the final line of their own end if they do not rectify their affair and turn back from their transgression. And they will come to know to what [evil] destination they will return. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Mocking the Religion of Allah Is No Entertainment: Beware of Watching Those Who Mock It! Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli

🔴 We Are Live! By the permission and grace of Allah, we are now LIVE with our tenth lesson on the: 📚 Explanation of the Summary of the Description of the Prophet’s Prayer, from the Opening Takbīr to the Taslīm, as Though You See It ✍️ By the Imām and Muḥaddith, Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī (may Allah have mercy upon him) 📖 Explanation and Commentary by Shaykh Prof. Dr. Sulaymān ibn Salīmullāh al-Ruḥaylī (may Allah preserve him) 🎙 Read and translated live by Abū Zakariyyā Aḥmad al-Ḥudaydī Join us as we study the authentic description of the prayer of our beloved Prophet ﷺ—from the opening Takbīr to the Taslīm—so that our worship conforms to his noble guidance, acting upon his blessed command: «صَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي» “Pray as you have seen me praying.” Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (6008). https://www.youtube.com/live/X8qmNLZj-iw?si=NdYHfzPfUicQw3ow

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: These are days of testing and distinction—days that distinguish the people of the Sunnah and the Jamāʿah from the other sects of deviation, and make clear who stands in the ranks of the people of the Sunnah and who stands in the ranks of their enemies for the sake of worldly gain, in its various forms. The verses of Imām ash-Shāfiʿī, may Allah have mercy upon him, and the rest of the scholars of the Muslims, are completely true: May Allah reward hardships with every good, even though they make me choke upon my saliva. And my gratitude to them is not by way of praise, but through them I came to know my enemy from my friend.

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: There must be some pain in war, but the pain of the people of truth is not like the pain of the people of falsehood. The people of truth suffer pain and are rewarded, then they are granted victory, and the good outcome is near, by the permission of Allah. As for the people of falsehood and their supporters, they have nothing but screaming and lies. Our Lord said: “And don’t be weak in the pursuit of the enemy; if you are suffering (hardships) then surely, they (too) are suffering (hardships) as you are suffering, but you have a hope from Allah (for the Reward, i.e. Paradise) that for which they hope not, and Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.” [Surah an-Nisāʾ 4:104] So, O men of our forces, and O our beloved people of Yemen: steadfastness, steadfastness; cooperation, cooperation; strength, strength. For the truth is with you, and the deeds of your enemies will become a cause of regret for them, then they will be defeated, by the permission of the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all.

Entering the Mosque at the Time of the Adhān: Should You Sit, Stand, or Pray? Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: “O men of Yemen! O people of wisdom, chivalry, dignity, and strong determination! Hold fast, hold fast to the Rope of Allah; remain united, remain united; and strike with one hand, so that your Yemen may once again become prosperous. Do not pay attention to those who discourage you, nor to the whispers of the devils among mankind and the jinn. For indeed, you are engaged in jihād for which you are commended, and, by Allah’s permission, before long you will praise the outcome. We bear witness—a testimony for which we will be held accountable—that your Saudi brothers and neighbours want good for you and honour for your country. They are joining you in your efforts to cleanse your country of the mischief of the Houthis, at the request of your legitimate leadership and in coordination with it. They bear whatever burdens they bear because of this, without holding it over you as a favour. So cooperate with them, for cooperating with them is an obligation. And know that whoever calls you to do otherwise has deviated from the correct path and has other motives. So do not be among the heedless.”

Two Paths Before You: The Mawlid or the Path of the Companions — Which Path Will You Choose? Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: قلت له: هات لي ذكر الاحتفال بالمولد في القرآن والسنة I said to him: Bring me the mention of celebrating the Mawlid in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: We will make it broader for you—so bring me the mention of the Mawlid in the reports of the Companions – may Allah be pleased with them. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: We will make it broader for you—so bring me the mention of the Mawlid in the first century of Islam, the best of the generations of the ummah. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: We will make it broader for you—so bring me the mention of the Mawlid in the speech of the Tābiʿīn and in the second century, the second of the preferred generations. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: We will make it broader for you—so bring me the mention of the Mawlid in the third century, the third of the preferred generations, and in the speech of the four Imāms. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: We will make it broader for you—so bring me the mention of the Mawlid in the books of the earlier four madhāhib. So he was silent and could not find anything to say. So I said to him: SubḥānAllāh! By what Sharʿ or intellect can, with all of this, the celebration of the Mawlid be a religion? By Allah, then by Allah, whatever was not religion back then will never be religion after it, and it will be nothing but an innovated bidʿah, and every bidʿah is misguidance. So he said to me: Manners are given precedence over following, and if we were prevented out of humility, we would have done so as manners and love. So I said: SubḥānAllāh! When has opposition ever been manners? And when has opposition ever been love? By Allah, if a son were to use that as an argument when disobeying his father, the father and the people of reason would reject that and reproach him for it. So how can this be accepted regarding our Master, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? Then are we more well-mannered and more loving than the Companions, the Tābiʿīn, and the four Imāms? This is a tremendous slander. Then this principle contradicts the Book, the Sunnah, and what the Salaf agreed upon. And if this alone is enough to dismiss the celebration of the Mawlid at its root for the rational person who is not bound by the shackles of blind-following, then what about when most of what people do in the Mawlid are evil practices that no rational person doubts? https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli
