FUNDRAISER FOR THE FAMILY This trusted & adored family, a cherished part of our artistic community, has lost their home and all earthly possessions to a wildfire. Times like these are when we all need to come together. The family has asked for anonymity and I’m respecting that. This tragedy has been confirmed and we need to come together to help. To provide a small relief to a family in crisis. Please consider contributing and at the very least sharing.

I have confirmed with Mary Anna, who is graciously running this fundraiser, that she has met the recipients IRL and can affirm that they're a White family who shares our values. I will be submitting a handwoven item and I encourage you to check it out. This is a beautiful and creative way to help in times of need.

More dyeing... I'm having so much fun with color while visualizing some beautiful handwoven hearth rugs. Would you be interested in a handwoven Shetland wool hearth rug? Dye day today ... First step is soaking the yarns in water. I'm so excited to be dyeing some nice colors. This is a cotton linen blend. I'm also dyeing wool roving from our old Shetland sheep flock.
