Your Social Media... after you die? Meta just got a patent for something straight out of sci-fi. The company was granted rights for AI that could simulate a personโ€™s social media activity after they pass away. The system would train on your old posts, comments, likes, and messages, then keep posting and replying as a digital version of you. In theory, this AI clone could respond to DMs, comment on friendsโ€™ updates, and maintain your online presence based on how you used to write and interact. Meta says it has no current plans to build or release this. Patents donโ€™t always turn into products. But the idea alone raises big questions about consent, privacy, and who controls your digital identity after youโ€™re gone.

btw currently building systems is not that much difficult, but focus on security issues and tests. there is a lot of developers in the market, you can win by building something different. so for that make deep research in detail before building systems. otherwise you're system may not be get for end users, just it will be the prototype. got my ideaโšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Œ @codewithmemo @codewithmemo

Our PHP teacher is teaching us about functions like push, pop, shift, unshift , sort, combine...blah blah blah. However, we are junior developers, and the department expects us to already know the basics of programming. Reflecting on our journey: when we were freshmen, we learned the fundamentals of programming, and we also have learned the basics in our second and third years. I feel like we're still stuck on the basics ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ. Instead of always present in class, focus on your self learning , be strong ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช @codewithmemo @codewithmemo

An LLM is like a super-smart autocomplete on your phone , but trained on millions of books instead of just your texts. It doesnโ€™t actually understand things like a human; it predicts the next most likely word based on patterns it has learned. Think of it like a student who has read the whole library and answers by recognizing patterns from what it has seen before. The better the training, the smarter the predictions. So an LLM isnโ€™t thinking , itโ€™s predicting very, very well. it's very interesting

You know how in Ethiopia we have three main languages(Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English), but most of us don't speak all three. I kept thinking about that and wondered: what if I built a simple AI app(website) where you can just speak, and it instantly writes out what you said in the language you're most comfortable with. Like, imagine a student recording a lecture given in English and getting notes in Amharic or Afan Oromo without any extra work. Or two people having a conversation, each speaking their own language, and the website translating in real time so everyone understands. Assume If this works, no one gets left out or confused just because they don't know another language. And honestly, It makes me smile thinking about how much easier university could feel for students, and how many conversations could happen that just... couldn't before. What do you think guys??
