🌲 - 🇱🇧🇮🇱🇱🇧 AFP cites a Lebanese judicial official saying authorities arrested a man close to Hezbollah on suspicion of spying for Israel and providing intelligence that led to the killing of Hezbollah commanders.
The suspect, identified as Mohammad Ali Shamseddine, was arrested at Beirut airport while preparing to travel to Iraq. The official says he used trips between Iraq and Turkey to meet people linked to Israel’s Mossad and pass information on targets in Beirut.
Shamseddine used his proximity to senior Hezbollah figures to access internal movements and intelligence with the leaked information linked to the killing of several commanders, including four senior security figures.
