Repost from Pavel Durov
🚀 The TON blockchain just got upgraded and is now 10× faster.
⚡️ Block rate increased 6×.
⏱ Transactions are now instant, subsecond.
🪙 This was step 1 of 7 to Make TON Great Again (MTONGA).
Next step: cut the already low transaction fees by 6×. ✂️

1/ Pepe ($PEPE) was born on Ethereum and is still widely called Ethereum’s native memecoin. 🪙
2/ Plush Pepe is TON’s native NFT with the highest marketcap on the TON blockchain, with its iconic plush design, it sits at the top of collector NFTs. 🎁
3/ And here’s the most important part right now:
Fragment is currently testing a system on the Ethereum network that lets you trade TON network NFTs (including Plush Pepe) directly with USDT.🪙
4/ Think about it: 🤖
- On Ethereum
- Using USDT
- Trading TON-native NFTs (Plush Pepe and etc.)
Have you ever thought why PEPE from ETH suddenly became the most known figure on TON via NFT Gift instead of a duck or redo?
why?
what if 🚬

There are indications that USDT payments might be introduced for gifts.
On the Fragment test server, references were discovered suggesting support for USDT transactions on the Ethereum network

🌎Trump's words constitute his latest ultimatum to Iran. He says that if they do not open the Strait of Hormuz, the US will destroy Iran's bridges, power plants, and infrastructure overnight.
I expect nothing will come of it, but I advise staying safe and reconsidering your positions.

EASTER EGGS ON 12 APRIL? 🎁
Russians (and most Orthodox Christians) celebrate Easter on April 12, 2026, because they follow the Orthodox (Julian-based) calendar for the date of Pascha
Why?
- Western Christians (Catholic/Protestant) use the Gregorian calendar → Easter 2026 falls on April 5.
- Russian Orthodox Church (and most other Orthodox churches) still uses the Julian calendar for calculating Easter.
Russia + CIS countries have a huge presence in Telegram crypto (TON was literally built by Telegram, and the Russian-speaking community dominates a lot of TON activity
People traditionally exchange painted eggs (крашенки / pysanky) as gifts and symbols of resurrection.
If you’re holding or flipping these Easter Eggs NFTs, the week around April 12 is I assume probably the best window this year.

Block is bringing back the bitcoin faucet.
The original, launched by Gavin Andresen in 2010, gave away 5 BTC to anyone who solved a CAPTCHA.
That's $500,000 per person at today's prices. The new version goes live April 6 at btc.day.
