I’m still favouring the downside on GBPAUD. Price is currently testing two major higher-timeframe resistance regions around 1.93500–1.93600, an area that has consistently capped price since 10th February.
This marks the 7th attempt to break above the range, and unless we see sustained acceptance higher, I believe it’s more likely we sweep the highs, collect the resting liquidity, and then rotate lower.
My ideal scenario would be a brief push above the range to trigger buy-side liquidity and fill remaining orders before looking for continuation back towards the 1.90000 mid-range objective.

I believe the US dollar is likely to come under pressure over the coming weeks, which could increase the probability of JPY intervention—something Japanese officials have recently commented on. My primary target is a move lower towards the 155.000 level.
