The Lost Keys
One afternoon, Sarah was riding her bicycle through the local park when she spotted a set of keys lying near a wooden bench. Attached to the keyring was a small leather tag with an address and a brief note asking the finder to return them. Instead of ignoring the keys, Sarah decided to follow the address, which led her to a quiet house a few streets away.
When she knocked on the door, an elderly woman answered. The woman looked relieved and explained that those were the keys to her medical cabinet, which she had been anxiously searching for since noon. Grateful for Sarah's kindness, the woman offered her a fresh piece of homemade cake and a small reward.
Sarah accepted the cake with a smile but gently turned down the money, stating that seeing the woman relieved was reward enough. The old woman smiled warmheartedly and remarked that small acts of responsibility bring great comfort to the community.
