Silver and gold punished opposite crowds on Binance's TradFi perpetuals on Oct 27. Leveraged silver buyers lost $1.91M of XAG's $1.97M, and the day's largest single forced closure, $391K, was a silver position. On gold it was the sellers, with $943K of XAU's $1.20M.
The top name was SOXL, a leveraged semiconductor fund, at $3.45M, with $2.25M of it from short bets. SanDisk's SNDK followed at $2.42M, mostly shorts at $1.70M.
Across the board $14.87M was forced out, 45% longs / 55% shorts, over 159 contracts and 4,259 events, down 14% from $17.34M on Oct 26.

Bybit has closed AVAX withdrawals on the CAVAX network. The change appeared in the exchange's own currency list during our daily read.
Anyone holding $AVAX on Bybit who planned to move it out over CAVAX can't use that route through the exchange at the moment. Deposits, and withdrawals on other networks, may still be working.
A closed withdrawal route is the earliest public signal a venue gives when something is off, but most of these pauses turn out to be routine maintenance.

Recorded liquidations totaled $119.9M on Oct 27, with $39.2M in longs and $80.6M in shorts, a 32.7% long share across 53,700 events. $ETH led with $5.5M in long liquidations and $24.2M in short liquidations, and the single largest liquidation was $9.4M on Binance in $ETH. The day was lower than the day before by 16.1% and well below the seven day average of $265.2M.

$BTC is up +0.79% over the last 24 hours and now trades at 80,746. The largest print was a short liquidation of $1.6M on Binance, with 1,034 recorded prints of $1K or more. The heatmap behind the candles is an estimate and the prints on them are recorded.

The fourth largest single market on Solana perps on Oct 27 wasn't a coin. USDCAD on GM Trade, the US dollar against the Canadian dollar, held $15.8M of open positions. Its hourly funding was -0.0005%, which means traders betting against it paid those betting on it.
Only three markets were bigger. SOL on Jupiter Perps held $32.5M, and BTC and ETH on Pacifica held $21.3M and $16.6M.
Across 6 venues and 289 markets, open interest totaled $244.0M, with $848.2M traded over 24 hours. GM Trade led with $102.8M, 42.1% of the board, and its book was close to even, with $101.8M long against $103.7M short.

Liquidity providers in Jupiter's JLP pool hold $847.0M backing trades on Jupiter Perps, earning 6.09% a year. On Oct 27 the traders on the other side leaned heavily one way, with 82.3% of open positions betting on a rise, $82.4M in longs against $17.8M in shorts across SOL, ETH and BTC.
The thin short side still draws hardest on the pool. Capacity set aside for shorts was 66.77% in use, the same reading on all three markets. On the long side, BTC uses the most at 21.33%, then SOL at 12.93% and ETH at 5.56%.
SOL holds the biggest long book at $52.6M, with the coin at $101.23.

Bets on a falling market paid the bigger bill in the 24 hours to Oct 27. Shorts lost $65.7M to forced closures against $41.8M for longs, $107.6M in all across 54,582 events. $ETH took the most at $27.9M, including the largest single liquidation at $9.4M.
Open futures bets across 27 venues reached $73.08B, 1.87% above a day earlier, with 15.5% held on decentralized venues.
US ETFs split on Oct 26, $110.3M into Bitcoin funds and -$88.6M for Ether funds. The largest Hyperliquid accounts by equity hold 44.8% of their notional long, and the biggest resting $BTC wall is a bid at $80.7K, -0.05% from mid.

Robinhood's own stock was the deepest discount in tokenized stocks on Oct 27. HOODx on Solana traded at -3.91% to the listed share and HOOD on Solana at -3.68%, with DELL on Solana next at -3.20%. Across 208 wrappers the median gap was only -0.14%.
At the other end, HIMSc on Base carried a +4.82% premium, and HIMS showed the widest spread between wrappers of a single stock, 5.27 pp.
Onchain supply valued at the share price reached $3.95B, up +2.59% from the last recorded day, yet DEX trading volume came in at $238.9M, a -15.79% change. Binance bStocks is the largest issuer with $1.38B.

Bitcoin's -5.1% over 30 days left every theme basket behind it except one. Quantum coins are up 10% for the month, a 15.1 percentage point lead on Bitcoin.
The rest trail by wide margins. Layer 2 comes closest at -9.1%, 4 points behind Bitcoin, and Meme sits at the bottom at -18.1%, 13 points behind.
In the 24 hours to Oct 27, Quantum also led the board at +2.34%. AI was the weakest basket at -0.96%, and Layer 1 was the only other one in the red at -0.44%. Each theme is an equal weight basket of Binance spot pairs.

Bitcoin made up 59.44% of the whole crypto market's value at 19:42 UTC on Oct 27. That puts $BTC above every other coin combined, in a market worth $2.72T in total.
Ether came second at 10.5%, which leaves Bitcoin's slice of the market several times larger than $ETH's.
This reading has no 24 hour comparison, so it shows where the market's value sits, not which way money moved over the day.

Crypto traders turned a touch more cautious over the 24 hours to 19:00 UTC on Oct 27. The Fear and Greed index, a score of how bold or nervous the crowd feels, gave up 2 points to 48. That still reads neutral.
The cash parked on crypto rails barely moved. Total stablecoin supply was $303.40B, up 0.03% on the day, so no fresh wave of dollars arrived and none left in size.
Bitcoin made up 59.41% of the whole crypto market's value at the same hour, keeping well over half the market's weight on one coin.

Bitcoin returned 25.6% over the past 90 days, and 41 of the 50 altcoins we track still did better. That puts the Altcoin Season Index at 82 on Oct 27, above the 75 line where altseason begins.
The reading is the same as a week earlier, a 7 day change of 0.
The gap inside the group is wide. $BTW leads with 18x over 90 days, and $APR trails at -81.2%. Even $DOGE, at +11.1%, sits among the five weakest names on the list, short of Bitcoin's gain.

The largest single options trade of the day was a sale. A block trader sold an $80,000 call expiring Mar 26, 2027, collecting $847K in premium. A call is a contract that pays its holder if the price ends above the strike, so the seller took the other side of that bet.
Across the day, buyers spent $2.16M on puts, contracts that pay on a fall, against $2.00M on calls. Block trades, large deals arranged away from the public order book, made up 46% of the flow.
The two buying totals sit close together, and no side clearly led the day's spending. The trade that stood out was one large call sale far out in time.

Market sell orders beat market buy orders by -554 BTC on Bitcoin over the 24 hours to 16:54 UTC on Oct 27, and the crowd's lean toward a rise held anyway.
Binance showed 2.18 $BTC accounts long for every one short. OKX read 2.12, and 66.5% of Bybit accounts were on the buy side. Binance's top accounts leaned harder at 2.29, but weighted by position size those same traders sat at 1.96.
Across our 30 coin board, $ETH had the most one sided crowd, 3.16 Binance accounts long for every one short.

25 of 399 crypto perps are oversold on the daily and 11 are overbought, with $BLUR the most oversold at 17.2 RSI. Next are $SOPH at 17.8 RSI and +1.5%, and $CT at 21.6 RSI and +9.4%. The heatmap shows the same contracts across eight intervals.

Lighter was the cheapest venue to hold a leveraged $AVAX long in the Oct 27 reading at 15:52 UTC, and Cryptocom the most expensive. The funding gap between them was 0.08% per 8 hours, the widest on our board.
Funding is the fee one side of a perpetual contract pays the other each period. If that gap held for a full year, after taker fees on both legs, the modeled annual carry comes to 73.29%. That figure is a model, not a recorded return.
The next widest gaps were $WIF at 0.07% between dYdX and Cryptocom, BNB at 0.06% between HTX and dYdX, and Cardano at 0.06% between Delta Exchange and XT.
110 799
Sellers thinned out on Ether's spot books over the 24 hours to 15:36 UTC on Oct 27. Offers resting within 2% of the price shrank 13.2%, and bids in the same range grew 2.8%, with $ETH itself moving just 0.1%.
Across 21 spot venues that leaves $96.04M in asks against $92.95M in bids, so sellers still hold the slightly heavier side, a -1.6% imbalance.
The two biggest walls sit tight around the price. A $18.74M sell order rests at $2,343.21, 0.15% above mid, and a $17.59M buy order at $2,338.53, 0.05% below. This is a snapshot, and resting orders can be pulled at any time.
110 799
Ether's short sellers just took the hit. In the last 30 minutes, exchanges closed $12.9M of leveraged bets against $ETH. Each one was shut automatically once the margin behind it could no longer cover the move higher.
The other side barely felt it. Liquidations on bets for a rising Ether came to $414.0K over the same window, across the major venues.
This was a short squeeze, with the pain sitting almost entirely with traders positioned for a lower Ether.

In Turkey, cheap Tether did most of the work behind a Bitcoin discount. Lira buyers paid -0.25% (-25.0 bps) under the global price on Oct 27, a score of 40 / 100 in the neutral regime.
USDT/TRY traded -19.7 bps against the official USD/TRY rate. That is the dollar leg. The crypto leg added only -5.3 bps. Every exchange in the read priced $BTC below the world. OKX TR was the dearest at -13.3 bps, and CoinTR the cheapest at -26.5 bps.
The 24 hour average came to -31.2 bps and the 7 day average to -20.1 bps. This is a price gap between lira venues and the world, not a trade anyone can lock in.
110 799
Sellers on DOOD carry the heaviest fee on this board on Oct 27. Funding on $DOOD reads -0.56%, which means traders betting on a drop pay buyers to keep their positions open. Open futures bets there fell 25.8% in the 24 hours to 15:00 UTC.
AIN pulls the other way. Open bets on $AIN grew 29.26% over the same window, with buyers paying 0.15% to hold them. That is new money arriving on the side that pays. Q added 20.62% in open bets at a near flat 0.01%.
The rest of the board is split. Shorts lead on BULLA, QNT and KORU, longs on JCT and $MSTR.
